My Honest Review of Revive Collagen – Does It Really Work?

In August 2022, I first gave Revive Collagen a shot to boost my nutrient intake and combat dry skin during the summer. Recently, the brand reached out and invited me to try their product again to see how my body responds nearly two years later. After a solid month of using the supplement, here’s what I’ve noticed:

**Week 1 – The Slow Start**

To be honest, the first week didn’t bring any dramatic changes. It was more about me remembering to take the supplement everyday. Now, I wasn’t expecting magic overnight because, let’s face it, even the best beauty elixirs need some time to work their wonders! So, I kept it up, trusting the process. In the first week, I experimented with both methods of taking the sachet to see which I liked better. I tried mixing it with water, but I struggled to finish it. Taking the sachet all at once turned out to be much easier.

**Week 2 – Hello, Supple Skin!**

By week two, I noticed a subtle difference. My skin started to feel softer and more supple, like it had been infused with some extra hydration. It’s the kind of difference where your skin feels like it’s had a good night's sleep every night. I began to notice that even my makeup was going on a little smoother. It was like my face was finally getting the nourishment it needed! Especially after a summer of being in the sun, this was very well needed.

**Week 3 – Let There Be Glow**

This is where the magic happened. Week three rolled around, and my skin looked noticeably brighter. I had this natural glow that didn’t look like I had slathered on a ton of highlighter. It was like that healthy, lit-from-within radiance that everyone craves. I found myself wearing less makeup and just enjoying my newfound glow. It’s such a confidence boost to look in the mirror and see your skin genuinely looking more alive.

**Week 4 – More Than Just Skin Deep**

Week four aligned with *that time of the month*, and usually, I’m dealing with a mix of dull skin, bloating, and low energy. But this time, I felt different. I still had some of the usual period symptoms, but I felt more energised than usual, which I totally didn’t expect. It made me wonder if the collagen was helping to balance things out a little.

**So, What’s the Hype About Collagen?**

Collagen is basically the building block of our skin, hair, and nails. As we age, our body’s natural collagen production slows down, which leads to fine lines, sagging skin, and a loss of that youthful bounce. That’s why supplementing with collagen has become a beauty must-have – it helps replenish what our body loses over time.

The benefits? Think smoother, plumper skin, reduced appearance of fine lines, stronger nails, and even healthier hair. Some even say it supports joint health (which is a plus if you’re into fitness like me). Revive Collagen in particular is known for being a high-quality, marine collagen supplement, which is great because marine collagen is more easily absorbed by the body.

 **Where Can You Get It?**

If you’re interested in giving Revive Collagen a try, you can find it directly on their [official website](https://revivecollagen.com). It’s also available at a few beauty retailers online, so keep an eye out for special offers or bundles. One thing I liked is that they offer subscriptions if you’re planning on making collagen a long-term addition to your beauty routine.

**Final Thoughts – Is It Worth It?**

In my opinion, Revive Collagen is worth trying if you’re looking for a boost to your skincare routine from the inside out. I’m happy with the results I saw after a month – my skin feels softer, looks brighter, and I’ve noticed an unexpected uptick in my energy levels. I am now going to purchase my own supply for the next month as I’m definitely going to keep using it to see if these benefits keep up or get even better. If you’re thinking about adding collagen to your daily routine, Revive Collagen is a great place to start.

Have you tried Revive Collagen, or are you curious about collagen supplements in general?

Now, let’s talk about the cherry on top: pairing it with the matching Fenty lip liner. Honestly, this combo is like a dream. The lip liner is creamy and glides on effortlessly, creating the perfect base for the Gloss Bomb Stix. Not only does it define the lips beautifully, but it’s also super long-lasting. Givenchy Prisme Libre Powder Review

If you haven't heard or seen anything about the Givenchy powder, then where have you been? I delayed buying it for the longest time as it isn't the cheapest powder out there but then when the mini was on offer, I couldn't resist.

The full size is available for £48.50 and the little one is £27. You do get less product but for a mini powder it is a lot compared to the mini Huda Beauty one I own. It also comes with a mini powder puff which is just the softest and cutest thing I have ever seen!

The powder box contains four shades that claim to mattify, blur and illuminate the complexion at the same time. There are four sections inside, which come out of the iconic logo at the top and then you have to mix them all together before applying. There are 6 colour combinations to purchase that suit any skin tone from fair to deep. They also have the blush version of this which I really want to try next.

I can't even explain just how luxurious and gorgeous this powder is. The packaging and the product are both incredible. It can be a little messy, but this might be because I am using the mini and not the full size. I find that the top and lid can get very messy especially when you try and mix it together.

The powder itself has the fluffiest, lightweight, most airy texture and feel. This lightweight feel means that there is no clinging and settling into lines or pores. I enjoy applying the powder is with the puff that is included and I try to evenly press a bit of each colour or mix it around slightly before applying.

I like the colour correcting properties of this powder and the fact that it is perfect for touch ups and oil blotting. For me, this powder is great to use under my eyes and around my mouth where I have a lot of discolouration. The price isn't for everyone and I still don't think I could justify the full sized, but for now this is perfect to treat myself every so often or keep it in my handbag for on the go.

Have you tried the Givenchy Powder? Or do you feel like trying?

3 To Try #1

The summer months inspire me to really switch up and try new things with my makeup. I think my mood is heavily dependant on the weather and lighter days, which go in hand with different makeup. These are three products that I have recently been using and have absolutely fall in love with!

I got this after seeing it online, as it promises to smooth, blur and control the shine. I did not like it when I first used it, it pilled and did nothing for my skin. Then I started to experiment and using it a few different ways. My current favourite is to pair with a different primer. I start by using a small amount of this blurring primer only in my tzone and then a different primer in all the other areas. It works like a dream and really does control oil! I want to try more from the range as it all seems to be tailored towards my skin type which is amazing.

I ordered a mini of this bronzer when they relaunched it in more shades and became completely obsessed. I used it up so quickly that I just knew that I needed to have the full size. I can't put this bronzer down. It gives my skin the most beautiful bronzed finish, its a matte finish which can be layered under blush or another shimmery bronzer. The shade range isn't brilliant but there is definitely a shade for everyone.

I must admit, I am not much of a concealer person. They aren't really something that I've ever used. I adore the NARS Soft Matte to use under foundation but other than that I don't tend to use one. I was gifted the Kosas one for my birthday and really enjoy using it. Its the perfect shade to wear under my eyes and to brighten other parts of my face. I use it more when I am wanting a full coverage look.

I love discovering new products instead of just using the same things, its nice to rotate things and change it up every so often.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur Review

I've officially broken up for the summer and have no excuse to not be blogging and posting! To kick things off, I am talking all about my new favourite lipsticks. The Flawless Lip Blur's from Charlotte Tilbury are my current obsession. I never thought I would go back to liquid lipsticks but this may have just turned me.
These are a matte liquid lipstick, which has some sort of amazing powder blur technology in them to smooth and mattify the lips. Despite being matte, they have something in them to keep them hydrating on the lips and are formulated to last all day.

There are a total of 8 shades in the range and the two I have aren't enough! I need more. These are comfortable, lightweight, long lasting and so beautiful on the lips. I love wearing these for work as I can put them on at 7am and know that they will still be on at 6pm. It fades slightly from the sides but nearly every lip product does that to me.

The applicator is the shape of a diamond and makes application really easy. I love pairing both of these shades with the Pillow Talk lip liner and sometimes love adding a gloss to give me a slightly different look altogether.

If you can remember the L'Oreal liquid lipsticks that came out a few years ago or you love the NYX ones, these are very similar. They are a whipped formula which look and feel lovely on the lips. I am utterly obsessed with them. Great if you love lipsticks and need something new to try!

Pillow Talk Medium is a a cool, dark nude. I love the medium range of pillow talk (lipstick and liner are amazing) and this is just the perfect everyday nude.

For something a little different and more pink, Rose Blur is perfect. Its warm toned and gives me such a pretty summer look.

Have you tried either of these? They are honestly beautiful!!

Sephora Haul

When we travelled to Italy last month, I was on a search for a Sephora. There weren't that many in the area we stayed near Venice but the one I found drained my bank account and I couldn't be happier. I am now ready for a no buy January because I have enough of basically everything. There wasn't as much choice for other brands as I hoped. I wanted to buy from brands that we don't get here in the UK and from their own brand, as their collection is brilliant.

The last time I managed to visit Sephora was over two years ago and things have changed a lot since then, their skincare has had a makeover and there was so much on offer. The things that caught my eye were to do with hydration and glow.
* The Sephora C + E serum was a holy grail to one of the staff members, she hailed it as the serum that gives her the glow from within and makes her skin feel and look so soft and supple. It contains vitamin c and e, which are both brightening ingredients.
* I love anything that contains hyaluronic acid and the all day moisturiser and eye cream duo was jumping out at me. I love the simple, science like packaging that they've opted for and having matching products with identical ingredients makes me so happy.
*Something that I bought came with a freebie of a jade roller which is very cool, I've never used one before so I am very excited to pamper myself with this.

As I mentioned above, their Sephora Collection is amazing and has some incredible products. I've tried most of their lip products in the past and cheek products, so this visit was aimed at eyes and base.
The first thing that caught my eye was glitter! I was mesmerised by the liquid eyeshadow glitters, I had to stop myself from buying all of them. I settled for a bronze as I have nothing like this in my collection and its surreal. Then we have a simple and easy black pencil liner, my cousin loves this and I needed to try and find out what she loves about it - I am pants at liner so hopefully this helps me a little bit. One product that they were displaying a lot was their Size Up Mascara, I really don't need anymore mascaras but this one looked amazing. The brush wand is huge and its not a sticky or watery formula - I shall report when I've used.

I'm a foundation collector and need some serious help but I love mixing my base products up and around depending on my mood, the weather and my skin. I've seen and heard about the best skin ever foundation online and wanted to try for myself. I had to completely guess the shade but seem to have matched myself pretty well. Its a medium, buildable coverage that has been formulated to give the skin a natural look. I used it quickly over Christmas and was impressed. It definitely wore better as the day went on. I remember using the set and refresh spray, years and years ago. It had a very fine mist which worked well to set the face in-between foundation and powder - excited to see how it performs.

I have saved the best thing to last. As I was at the till, the most dangerous part as it contains all the minis and exclusives. I spotted some NEW Rare Beauty goodies and squealed with excitement. The lady behind the counter looked so confused and I had to explain that Rare Beauty isn't yet available in the UK. If you don't know, RB is from Selena Gomez and has taken the beauty world by storm. Everything from her is beautiful with simple packaging and quality at the forefront. I won't go into too much detail about what I picked up as I have a full post coming soon... but here is a sneak peek.

There we have it. A mini Sephora haul that I am so excited about to use and review. We need some of their own brand things over here in the UK!

False Lashes for Novices

Whether it’s a special occasion, birthday or just a normal night out, getting glam is my favourite thing to do. I love planning my makeup, outfit, hair and going all out. The last year has been crazy and I haven’t been able to do this as much until recently my ‘social calendar’ has started to fill up and it’s been amazing to get the chance to get all dressed up.

On these occasions, I love applying false eyelashes to give my look that final touch and it has fast become my favourite way to enhance my eyes and complete the overall makeup look. Nowadays, there are so many different options available, there is a style out there to suit all levels of expertise. My personal favourites are the Ardell natural lashes, easy to wear and look beautiful. When it’s a special occasion, the Ardell nakedlashes are stunning.

Believe me when I tell you I understand the struggle of applying lashes! I wear glasses all the time, so when it comes to applying lashes, I have to go in blind and in the past, I’ve had my fair share of lash related disasters.  The band hasn’t glued on correctly, they’ve not suited my eye shape, they’ve stuck down too well and then won’t move – so many disasters. This is my guide to applying, wearing and removing lashes without any hassle, fuss or stress!

Currently Loving #11

Marvellous May! We are nearly half way through 2021 and this side of the year definitely looks better than the start. I get my second vaccine this weekend and I could not be more excited. April saw lesson observations, work load increasing, meeting people outdoors, getting my nails done and so many more wonderful things!

Spring Beauty Transition

I am loving this Spring season. Compared to last year, when we were in the first lockdown, this one has a lot more benefits and positives. It also given me a chance to change my beauty routine for the season. When I was indoors all the time last year, I didn't really bother but this time of year from April to June is my favourite!

Payday Haul

Since January to now, I have been as good as I can be with spending money on beauty products. I've loved shopping for clothes and have repurchased products such as cleanser and moisturiser as they are essentials.  Then on my most recent pay day, after online teaching to normal teaching, half term was the perfect excuse to splurge and treat myself. I didn't get lots of things but some products that I have had my eye on.

Skincare First Impressions #1

My post man has been delivering me a lot of skincare recently and I am so happy and thankful. I think PR or samples are something that I love and am always so grateful for - its like its my birthday whenever a parcel comes! This past week I have been trying some new in bits from Antipodes, Dermalogica and Shiseido and thought I would do a sort of first impressions post and then hopefully review them fully in the future. After a week back teaching actual humans, my skin needs all the love!

Welcoming Spring

The past week has got me so excited for the next few months. As we enter into the wonderful month of March, let's hope its a better one that last year! With the sunshine making more of an appearance too, it really does boost everyone's mood and motivation. I spent some time at the weekend getting out some more bright knits and floral tops and giving my toenails for love before it officially becomes sandal season!

I've also had a slight reset and refresh to my beauty routine and wardrobe to make room for the more warm tones and bright pops of colour.. let's take a peek inside...

Maybelline Sky High Mascara Review

I wouldn't say that I am a mascara expert - but I do love trying different ones. In my lifetime, I've mainly stuck to Maybelline mascaras (remember great lash?), tried a few Benefit ones, Climax from Nars and a Pixi one in-between all of them. Maybelline is a brand that I will come back to time and time again. Their Lash Sensational was all the rave a few years back and I still love it. Recently I have trying out the Sky High mascara that has blown up on social media..

21 Questions: Makeup Edition

When I first started blogging, TAG blog posts were the in thing. Everyone used to do them, they used to be all over YouTube as well. I watch the very beautiful Allie Glines and am obsessed with her channel. She posts a really good mix of 'drugstore and high end' as well as other videos such as 'full face of nothing new' and recently the Vogue style 21 questions but a makeup edition. It seemed like fun so I thought I would have a go too!

Charlotte Tilbury Haul

At the start of the year, I said to myself that each month I would aim to try a new brand. A brand that I have always wanted a particular product from, a whole range, just something new and different to me. My first one was going to be the luxury brand 'Charlotte Tilbury'. My lovely friend Aimee, very kindly bought me some things for Christmas and I have been in love ever since.

2020 Makeup, Skincare and Lifestyle Favourites

2020 seems to have flashed right before my eyes and I can't believe its over - so cliché! Before the new year rings in this weekend, I thought I'd do a rundown of my top products from the year. We're talking everything from makeup to tv shows, its a long one - be ready.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation Review

Early last month, I was very lucky to receive some amazing PR from It Cosmetics. A brand that I've not really tried much from but always heard such wonderful things. Initially, I thought it was just to try their newest launch the 'Your Skin But Better Foundation'. However, a whole bunch of goodies arrived at the doorstep and I am still working my way through each one. For today's post, I am going to give you my overall views and feedback on their newest launch and to tell you all the details about how it wore, looked and lasted on my oily skin!

Everyday Makeup

The products that I use on a daily basis, have their own place in my makeup dresser. They sort of just sit together, so I can grab them at any point in the morning, without having to worry or look for them. I honestly thought this year would be the year I experiment more with the products I use and change them in rotation but I can't help but just use the same things over and over again - I only use these because they are what I trust.
