Hi, My name is Parie and I am a foundation addict. I don't know what it is or why, but I can't seem to stop buying foundations. There is something in me that likes having different choices in the morning and more recently since going over seas and seeing all the different choices, it got me a little crazy and I now have enough to last me a life time. Slight problem... I have none that match my tan! So, I've had to hunt down a foundation darkner because there is no point wasting more money a darker product for a couple of weeks!

Achieving Glowy Skin When You Have Oily Skin
Saturday, July 22
Giving this post a title was SO difficult, I have combination skin which leans on the oily side but lately I have been loving a very dewy and glowy look compared to matte and shine free. It has been hard to find the balance between looking lovely and like a frying pan but I have sussed it out. A few simple steps and inexpesive products is all you need oh and this post, of course! Just a warning that the words dewy, glowy, oily and shiny will be used a great deal in this post 😂
The I Didn't Mean To Buy It Haul
Saturday, June 3
I worked in Leeds a few days this week and lets just say working around the corner from all the shops is VERY DANGEROUS. I have spent so much of my lunch hour going for a browse, when I really shouldn't have! At the moment the high street/ drugstore brands are killing it, with so many new releases and Superdrug pretty much have every offer going. It is only a small haul but full of things that I am excited to try.
The Foundation That Is Everyone's Holy Grail
Thursday, May 4
Recently, I have become a foundation junkie. Always wanting to try them and see the different formula's around. Since discovering the Lancome foundation, its given me a urge to try out more high end foundations to see how they wear and compare. I took to the Internet to find out what other foundations people love, the one that constantly came out on top was the Estee Lauder Double Wear. This is actually one foundation that I have wanted to try for the longest time due to everything that it claims to be and do, next thing you know I'm in Debenhams at the counter getting shade matched.
I actually matched to a range of shades, but went with the middle one in order to balance it out all year round. When I get darker in the summer, I'll need to invest in some sort of shade adjusting, mixer product to darken it up.

Bloggers Made Me Buy It
Saturday, April 22
One thing that blogging has done for me, is a give me a negative credit card balance - all the damn time. Every time a blogger raves about something or a few bloggers share photos on instagram of a product it just has to be mine. Half the things in my makeup collection are blogger enabled so it is no surprise that my collection is so large, I think the power and influence bloggers/youtubers have is incredible. I've received such lovely messages in the past, saying that they're loving a product upon my recommendation. That is the best feeling in the world! I've tried to narrow down to the products that were mainly influenced by bloggers and here's what we have..
The Glam Face & DIY Surprise Party
Tuesday, February 14
Two weekends ago was the most stressful weekend of my life, my mum turned 50 and as a family we took it upon ourselves to host a surprise party. She had absoutely no idea, until the moment she walked through the door and we shouted SURPRISE. The look on her face was priceless, it was such a great night and its crazy that we actually pulled it off.
The most important parts of the night for me, were the decorations because the venue was bare without anything. Then of course my makeup, I obviously needed to look the part as the daugther of the special person and had my makeup planned out for weeks. I managed to do an entire face in the dark with the tiniest mirror in just under 10 minutes, proud doesn't even cut it!
L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation First Impressions
Thursday, February 9
Its a bit L'Oreal crazy on the blog at the moment but they are killing it base wise and I just have to try and buy everything! Through Ebay I managed to get my hands on the US version of the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation (full post) as well as the Pro-Glow (coming soon), but next on my list was their newest release the Infallible Total Cover. As per usual, the US had it first and then I saw on Kaushal's youtube that it was coming over here really soon, since then my eyes have been looking out for it. Last friday, on a random trip into Superdrug, I spotted them just as they were being put out!

Loreal Infallible Foundation Review - US vs UK
Tuesday, January 24
The L'oreal Infallible Foundation used to be a firm favourite of fine, it was all I ever used. But as time went on, the formula becoming too drying on my skin and their darkest shade (30 Honey, might I add) became far too light for me. A few bloggers have been raving about the how the US formula is much better than the UK one and I just had to try it out. Unfortunately, flying over seas just to buy the foundation seemed a tiny bit too expensive, but good old eBay came through.
There is a UK Seller which you can find under the username suntastic0_1, that supplies you with a variety of American makeup goodies. They are based in the UK and delivery was fast and with me within 3 working days. They sell a whole range of makeup items from the drugstore and you could spend hours browsing and choosing what to buy.
I'm just going to put it out there, this foundation is incredible. Along with a few others I've been using lately this has restored my faith in L'Oreal foundations! I ended up going with the shade #107 Fresh Beige, after browsing swatches for days and watching videos of people similar shades to me in other foundations. It's just about perfect, its very yellow toned which is a good thing on Asian skin however I think the darker shade may have suited me a little bit better but it doesn't look awful.
The packaging for the foundations, are very similar. Both in a tube, without a pump annoyingly however I have found that the US version is a lot larger in size compared to the one we get here in the UK. Its a slimmer tube and a bit more difficult to handle.
This for me is very much high coverage, you need a small squirt on each part of your face to cover everything and anything. My scars, spots and uneven skin tone all get covered with this miracle worker and it blends like a dream. I have used both a buffing brush and beauty blender to see the difference in results, both work amazingly well! I prefer the blender as it looks a little more seamless and is easy to blend away but a brush is just as good. I find it covers perfectly and lasts me for an entire day, after applying at 7am for work and coming home at 7 its still in tact. No need to powder to remove shine or blot to control cakiness.
The EBay seller has it retailing at £12.95 which is £5 more than what the UK version is sold for however I would repurchase this over the UK one any day. If you have always wanted to try the US verison/this foundation in general then I urge you to buy now!
Arm Candy
Friday, September 2
Simple jewellery is fast becoming my favourite thing to wear and its the perfect thing to quickly put on in the morning and run out the door. Recently, I've been reaching for three things and nothing else because they look great mixed together and on their own.
Little accessories and bits you add to any outfit ,really makes a difference to your whole look. It adds something different and new.
Primark PS Pro Oval Blending Makeup Brushes
Thursday, July 21
Oval makeup brushes are taking the beauty world by storm, they have become the latest craze. The problem is the price tag that comes with it, Artis brushes start at £28 and thats for a small one and MAC retail them for £34. Personally, I can't justify the spend on them no matter how amazing they might be (unless I win the lottery, in which case, I'll take 2).
Michelle from TSNC compared a Ebay version to the Artis ones and I was planning on buying them, until I headed into Primark one day. Hidden within their makeup brushes stand I spotted these oval brushes, a complete dupe for the expensive ones.
Ebay Real Techniques Bold Metals Dupes
Saturday, June 25
Browsing Ebay is one of my favourite past times, in fact I think I spend longer on Ebay some nights than I do any social media platform. Call me crazy if you wish but sometimes scrolling for hours really does have its benefits. I stumbled upon this beauty of a bargain, a Real Techniques Bold Metals Set for the bargain price of £4.99! I love buying new phone cases every so often, it makes my phone less boring and hides the ugly back cover too! I am however, very picky. I don't like spending too much money but also don't like anything that looks too cheap. Recently, my marble obsession lead me to discover this gorgeous phone case on Ebay and I just couldn't resist!

Start With a Simple Platform
You don’t need to build your own fashion website, unless you have the time and money to do so. It’s really easy to turn your love of fashion into a business with the help of platforms like eBay and Depop. All you need to do is create a business seller page and you’re good to go! You can begin selling in minutes.
Find Clothes to Sell
Now you need to find clothes to sell. These could be your own clothes, but you need enough to keep your business going. You could sell vintage clothing, or seasonal clothing such as wholesale hats and gloves. It’s up to you to work out what will sell best. You can sell a number of different things if you’d prefer. By having a niche, you stand a better chance of success when you’re just starting out.
Style Clothes to Make Your Listings Look Attractive
If you want to get the most money for your clothing, you should style your listings to make them look more attractive. You could do this with a mannequin, or a simple flat lay. However you feel you can style them best. The more attractive your listings look, the more chance you have of selling them, and for a decent price. It’ll help if you post pictures on social media, like Facebook and Instagram so people can find your business.
Register Your Business
If you’re serious about continuing on with your business, you need to register it. You must do this within 3 months of starting. Everything should be done above board if you want to be successful.
Do Everything Legitimately
You need to do everything legitimately if you want to be a real online business. For example, you should probably accept returns for certain items, and make sure you let PayPal know what you’re doing. You’ll have fees to pay, and you don’t want to get into trouble!
Focus on Customer Service
Your customer service is a vital part of your business. Offering great customer service will ensure that your feedback is ar 100%, and people come back to you in the future. If you fail to look after your customers, they’ll go somewhere else.
It’s really easy to turn your love of fashion into a business these days. Later on, you could even branch off into makeup and other things you like. You can make it a part time business, or go into it full time if you enjoy it. You don’t have to stick to it if you don’t like it, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t try it. Leave some of your own tips below. Thanks for reading!

Ebay Find - Cartier Love Bracelet
Thursday, November 19
Don't you just love when you find something on Ebay that is an absolute bargain buy? This time I was on the hunt for a dupe of the Cartier Love Bracelet as I have seen many people wear the real ones, and saw a real one myself when I went to Munich, I just knew that I had to have one. I could not ever justify spending £4600 on one but can justify £3!
As always with dupes like these, I can't compare them with the actual thing because I don't own one. But I can compare with images and to me it is pretty much the same. The quality of this bracelet is very good and surprising to me seen as though it was very cheap, it took a while to get here as it was from overseas but I haven't stopped wearing it since.
I saw this very late at night on Ebay and am so glad that I pressed the Buy Now button because it is a steal and well worth the wait!

What's On My Bathroom Shelf?
Saturday, November 7
I really want to do a university room tour but am not 100% happy with it yet as it is brand new and I am still figuring where I want things to be. But the space that I am happy with is my bathroom, its a simple wet room but just above the sink is a shelf full of my beauty goodies.
The Essentials
One the left hand side we have the items that everyone has in their bathroom. Deodorant something I am very fussy about, it has to work and it has to smell nice too and Dove never disappoint. Fun fact i came to university with 3 bottles so that I am prepared. Toothpaste and a toothbrush for cleaning my teeth of course, aquafresh is the best toothpaste out there for an everyday basis in my opinion. The last essential I have kept in my bathroom is a body mist, these act as a air fresher for me as well as the spray that I apply after drying myself off in a bid to keep me smelling nice all day. I apply body butter outside of the shower hence why it isn't shown here.
Skincare
The neat freak inside of me has decided to keep everything in the order that I use it and the process starts with the Garnier Micellar Water to remove all my make-up with the tiniest cotton pads in history, The I apply something I picked up in Dubai but is also available on Ebay it's the Baja No Marks cream, this is meant to help with the reduction of marks left after acne and even out the colour. I use it every night after cleansing and it really calms my skin down and helps with the marks. On alternate nights I use the Skin Therapy Oil from Palmers which restores the moisture back into my skin and smells amazing. In the red pot are my retainers, which look right at me so I know that I have to wear them. Lastly, is spot treatments. Both are completely different as I use them at different times of the spot procedure. Sudocrem works best on my skin when a spot is out, red and sometimes painful - it dries it out and assures me that I won't be concious about it all day. Then there is Panoxyl which is a lot stronger and great to get those under the skin spots and anything that is creeping up, but not quite there yet. Together these create a recipe for disaster so I don't apply them all at once otherwise my skin would be on fire.
There's what is on my self, very simple but all things that I need either in the morning or the night. Having them in one place and at reach is great when you are half asleep on a night. What's on your 'bathroom shelf'?

BASE
I have been debating about this for months, what products do i take? something new or something that I am used to? In the end I have settled for the infallible duo because they are two products that I can trust and know that they will stay on me for the long days when we are out and in the evening as well. Also, taking along with me the CC Cream you will be seeing a first impressions in a few weeks, but this will be my second time using it and hoping for the best. Concealer and powder are the same as always because I can trust them and then a lip balm to keep my lips hydrated.
> Collection Concealer // £4.19
> Rimmel Stay Matte Powder // £3.99
Superdrug CC Cream // £8.99
>Balmi Lip Balm // £4.99
EYES AND FACE
My aim is to take products with me that are mutli purpose, and all of the palettes that you can see above do exactly that. They will be making my life easier and hassle free as it gives me more option without having to take separate things along. See more about the palettes I am taking here, There is a mascara in the On The Run palette but I am also taking along Roller Lash because its the perfect evening out mascara and looks amazing on my lashes, as does the rose gold blush for the evening time and it gives me another option if I get bored of the things in the palette.
> Benefit Roller Lash // £19.50
> On the Run // £37.00
> Eyes Uncovered // £2.99
> Sleek Rose Gold Blush // £4.49
>MR Protection Palette // £6.00
LIPS
The toughest part of them all, having to whittle down my lip product selection to only a few because I don't want to be taking everything with me is very hard. My aim is to take these four only as they provide me with different looks, but knowing me on Thursday right before I fly I will end up putting more in or even buy some at duty free oops. Taking a red lip with me is essential, mainly for the evening and the Maybelline one doesn't budge and is easy to put on in a rush. Then we have a lip gloss and a neutral lip for everyday, both are quick to apply and smell good too. And finally a bright pink colour, perfect for morning and night and the formula of these are amazing, thinking I might just have to take another one because they are just that good!
> Maybelline Colour Drama in Red Essentials // £4.99
> Tanya Burr in Chic // £6.99
> Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle // £7.99
> Bourjois Rouge Edition in Ping Pong // £8.99
BRUSHES
There isn't a chance that I am able to cut down the brushes I bring with me, I just have to have them all oops. Real Techqiues are my most trusted brand, along with me I am taking;
> Multi Task Brush (Part of the travel collection)
> Setting Brush
> Contour Brush
>Buffer Brush
As well as these I am taking a random blush brush I found one day, my EBAY MAC shadow brushes and the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge which is just AMAZING!

Ebay Wishlist #1
Saturday, May 30
I browse Ebay far too much during the week, here is a list of all the things I am currently swooning over! If you see anything you fancy just click the small items below! Both the bags come in a variety of different colours, I seem to be more attracted to the navy blue colour and may just end up ordering it! Benefit is such an amazing brand but so expensive if you don't end up liking the products, buying little samples make it easier for you to see what you like and what you don't! I have a lot of makeup bags already, but this one has two cure little sections in and the polka dots are adorable, same with the makeup brushes I have way too many but I am wanting a brand new packet to take on holiday with me (more next week!!) And then the slogan on this sweater is my favourite thing ever.
EBAY FINDS| £2 NARS Kabuki Ita Brush Dupe
Tuesday, May 12
Yes, you did read the title of this blog post right, I have found a NARS brush dupe for just £2. When browsing Ebay a few weeks ago I came across the RT Dupes I bought a while back (full post here) and when scrolling down even further along came the image of a flat contour brush, that looked really similar to the NARS one!
The images on the Ebay listing showed it with the NARS logo but I never believe anything I see on the internet until it comes in front of me. Until the other day it came in the post and oh my oh my, i screamed with a great deal of excitement because it came with the logo on and looks identical to the real brush. I don't own one as it costs a bomb of £43 at John Lewis but looking at pictures it is pretty similar.
I am beyond happy with the quality and it works a dream! For the price you honestly can't go wrong, and I am debating about whether or not to buy another one in case the seller stops selling it. It came two weeks after ordering if you were wondering, which isn't bad considering it comes from outside of the UK.
