Urban Decay Naked 3; Review+Swatches♥

I just want to start off with apologising, if you are one of those people who are reading yet another post on the UD Naked 3 palette! The entire world has gone loco for this palette, and there have been many reviews and swatch posts already posted, but I thought that I would just share my opinion with you as I just have to rave about it!

This has been one of the most anticipated makeup releases ever in my opinion, Urban Decay have stolen so many hearts and one of them being mine. I adore by Naked 1 palette and had my heart set on buying 2 last month, but it all changed when 3 popped along and stole the spotlight! I decided to skip buying 2 and move straight onto 3 instead. I am unsure about whether or not I am going to buy 2 yet, but am hoping to buy Basics..anyway enough of a ramble lets' get on with it!
After days of sitting beside the door waiting for the postman to deliver this as a parcel, IT CAME! When I opened it, my heart skipped a beat. I was in complete shock, it was just so beautiful to look at and touch that I was so scared to even use it.After photographing everything and staring at for the whole day, I decided to use it and it was like putting pure heaven on my eyes.
What comes with the palette? With the Naked 1 I got a full size of the original primer potion(that I love) and this palette comes with a double ended brush from UD and 4 samples of their primer potion, each with a weeks worth of primer enclosed > Original, Eden,Sin, and Anti-Aging.
Packaging+Shadows? The case is a rose gold colour with waves that are indented across it and it snaps shut. It is filled with 12 beautiful eye shadows that are all very soft, blendable and very pigmented. There is a mix of matte and glitter/satin shadows that are just overall amazing. My skin is fairly dark, and all of the shadows swathed fine apart from Dust which took a few layers to show up as it is very heavy with glitter and Trick which would not show up on my skin at all, so there is no swatch - apart from they were all a treat to use!
Here are a few pictures and the swatches, you can expect a face of the day tutorial in a few weeks using this palette! I am also really proud of my photography with the palette as the light was awful!

Collection 2000 Smokey Eyes Review ♥

The other day I received a lovely package from Collection! I won a competition where I won a signed FanFair smokey eyes kit! I had actually had my eyes on this palette for a while, as I was wanting to try out some smokey eyes for events happening later on in the year. So here are swatches of the colours...

The palette is such a pretty, cute palette! It is great for travelling as it so small and easy to carry round - even handbag size so I can take it everywhere. The back of the palette does actually tell you how to apply the shadows but mine has signatures over it - oops. The swatches from the palette below are taken in columns the medium, dark and then light with the cream.

First of all, the medium shades are all very pigmented and have a nice shimmery base to them. The first is a silver shimmer shadow which looks amazing on the eye as a base on its own; the second is a  gold shimmer shadow which is also great as a base for the eye as well as the third which is more of a whiter colour.

The second column of shadows are much darker, the first is the darkest of them all as it is a jet black colour that gets applied in the corners and the edges. The second a brown matte colour which I LOVE on it's own all over the lid and on the outer corner. Finally the final one is a golder brown compared to the one above which is really pigmented.

These three final, lighter shades are the nicest they are creamier and great for highlighting. The first one is a white shadow that is my favourite to highlight the upper part of your brow bone! And finally the cream shade, which is specifically designed to highlight the inner corner of your eye to give your smokey eye a nice finish!

I recommend buying this palette if you are wanting to do a smokey eye look on a budget, it definitely delivers amazing result for the price you pay. I am going to be having so much fun with this palette in the future and can't wait to try it out!! p.s it so cheap!!

MUA 'The Artiste Collection' Palette Review ♥

I have a unhealthy addiction to MUA make-up! The Superdrug based brand is definitely my go-to make up brand! I've never had a problem with their cosmetics, they are always of a good quality and excellent pigment! Here is a mini review of their  'The Artiste Collection' Palette; I got it for free from my local Superdrug - as I spent £6 or more on the MUA products! This palette by MUA is their first combination palette - eyeshadows, blush, bronzer and a highlighter.

This is the front and back of the palette, it is a very decent size (handbag size) which is what I prefer as I hate  palettes that are just far too big and are a pain to pack with you!
The eye-shadow's in the palette (top row) are as followed, each one has a extremely good pigment in them. I have dark skin and even colours like 'Chocolate' and 'Cookie' showed up on my skin tone. I especially love the colour 'Mocca' its very shiny, party like! These eye-shadow's are also very creamy based, meaning that when I put them on my eye they are much easy to apply.

The set also includes - 2 very brightly pigmented blushes 'Primrose' is not just a pretty name however also has a tiny little glitter hint to it! Which makes it flawless for the skin. The bronzer is a great addition to the palette as it a very nude bronzer  for every skin tone. The highlighter is soo pretty! It has a nice shimmer to it and is very soft for the skin.

'The Artiste Collection' Palette is amazing overall! It has your everything you need to transform your look, if you are having a busy day! The shadow's have amazing colour in them, and the blushers, bronzer and highlighter give the palette a nice twist! You even get a nice, small brush to sit inside!
