Nail Buff - Storing Nail Polish Online?

Nail Buff

I love buying nail polishes and store them on a acrylic storage unit, this means that I can see that every shade I have side by side and also the brands of polishes that I own. One thing I struggle with is that when it comes to choosing one to wear, it is very hard and trying to see if colours are similar to something I want to wear is a even bigger task. Anyone else know of the struggle? Well, let me introduce to you Nail-Buff, changing the way we buy nail polishes one step at a time.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review ♥

I received a few products from a 2True goody bag, and thought that you guys would like to see a review on it all. 2True is a budget brand that is available to buy online and instore at superdrug, I used to buy lip products from this brand but nothing else..so when I had all this stuff given I was beyond excited!
I will be splitting up the reviewing into three sections - Lips + Nails, Eyes and then Face products, I find it easier to review in little bits, rather than bombarding you guys with lots of information and photos. On that note lets get into today's section 'Lips + Nails.

As I said above, I have used a few lip products from the 2True range and I have always loved them. The two lip glosses  that I received are definitely two shades that I never would have picked myself; so I was very excited!

These two shade are gorgeous and look great as a combo! I love layering these two on top of one another for a glitter sparkly look. 'No 16/Plum' is a really nice deep purple colour that looks for nude on the lips than plum, which makes it nicer to wear in the day and at night. 'No6/Rose Pink' which is the number on the back, however the image on Superdrug makes it look more like a pink that a clear that I can see.Regardless, it is also a lovely sparkly colour that looks great on its own and over the top of something else.

2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

As you can see the colours are really pigmented, and this isn't even on my lips! And the packaging is very cute as well and it very compact.

Now for nail polishes, these two are such a good match! In fact I love that everyone matches together so well. I was very interested in using these nail polishes, because I had never tried them before and know I want to try more! The first is a gorgeous big chunked glitter that looks amazing at night. And the second is from their 'Pro' range, and is a Hi shine finish - similar to the BarryM Gellys.
2True Lipgloss & Nail Polish Review

The pink polish was very thick, I didn't realise that It would be a big struggle. But for next time I know that I need to apply very thin coats to build up the colour as it is a pale/pastel colour.

The glitter, is amazing! The mix of little chunks and big chunks of glitter makes it a perfect go to glitter. I never like putting glitter on it owns, or even on all my nails as glitter is a pain to get off. The advantage of this glitter being in a little bottle, is that the little brush made it easier for the glitter to spread over my nail.

I am loving all the 2True stuff so far and can't wait to use the rest and review it! I reccomend all these products to you guys out there. And they are so budget friendly as well. WIN WIN,

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee' - Review & Swatches ♥

I love buying nail polishes, whatever chance I have I always have to buy one! Today I bring you a review of one of the BarryM Gelly's; when this range came out I was so excited and I am slowly building up a small collection! I started off with buying the Gelly in 'Blueberry' which you can read here. And then bought 'Lychee' because I was really attracted to the colour - I was worried about purchasing it, as I didn't know what it would look like on a dark skin tone ... but I love it!

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

I adore bottles that have a cute packaging as it looks great when it is on display in my stand, and this bottle is very sleek. The silver metal lid, is different to all other BarryM polishes they have which gives it this unique look. And I love the fact that they categorize their nail polishes my the bottle loo.

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

All the colours in the range are really nice and lovely for the summer colour! This is 'Lychee' my go to nude polish! I think that this is the perfect nude for that natural, no look, it looks subtle and looks great on every skin tone!
BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

As far as Application goes..I really didn't find it difficult! This is a very thick and cream nail polish which gives you that glossy finish. Now only if it is applied in thin coats, can you get that shiny and glossy finish!I applied one thin coat and waited for that to completely dry before adding the second coat as I didn't want any unevenness.  I also found that I had to really be careful with the amount of polish that I put on my brush, other wise it would all collect on my nail.

BarryM Gelly 'Lychee'

Overall, I am in love with this polish! It is so glossy and lovely and a perfect warm nude tones colour. I finished it off with a glitter accent..this is The Colour Workshop in 'Silver Streak' it is a very fine glitter and I love it!

Have you got any Gelly polishes? If so what colour's would you recommend!

Essie Haul

I think that the Essie packaging is beyond beautiful. It just looks so professional and the clear bottle helps you to know the colour you are buying!

First up is 'Fear or Desire' which is a lovely bright orange colour. I don't usually go for bright's, but I am attracted to this colour so much! The above picture is with 2 coats, and the polish as a lovely creamy formula to it which makes it very easy to apply.

Next is 'Bikini So Teeny' a colour that I have been wanting for so long! It is a baby blue with very fine specks of glitter in, this is a very sheer polish and needs several coats to get the colour of the bottle. You also  need to be careful and make sure that you be careful as it is very streaky...I did 2 coats and still couldn't see the shimmer that I can see in the bottle; which is a disappointment.

And now my favourite of the 3, 'Off The Shoulder' a deep pink polish with again a creamy finish. For me this is the perfect all round pink, it has warm and cool tones which makes it great to wear whatever the season! Another thing I love about this is that I only needed to use one coat and it came with a glossy finish!

Are there any Essie nail polishes I should try? Leave your recommendations below!

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review ♥

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

First off, I am loving the packaging! These little pink boxes look so cute on my desk and they all match! The bottle is also an amazing size for storage and to carry around, I have also found that the brush for me is the perfect size for my nail bed width making the application easier and quicker.

This is a gorgeous deep purple colour that is perfect for that night out! Two coats of this polish gives you the colour of the bottle.

A sheer pink polish, that is perfect for either a French, on its own or even as a glitter top coat!

Avon Colour Trend Nail Polish Review

This is a lovely deep red colour that has a glossy finish to it. Again, two coats of this will make it look perfect.

The above two polishes are my favourite! They give the effect of a shiny nail foil. They do actually dry matte however applying a top coat gives you that shiny look.

Please ignore my fingers and the bumps and lumps around them!

My thumb is pictured with a top coat over it and 'soft violet' is the matte finish you get when the colour is applied at first.

I have really fallen in love with these polishes and will be definitely buying some more!

OPI; The Living Daylights Review ♥

Today you guys is a very special day, I have my first - very first OPI nail polish review!! I bought this a few weeks ago and just recently received it in the post. HOLY COW. It is the prettiest bottle and glitter nail polish I have ever seen. When I opened the package I had one of them HALLELUJAH moments..with my jaw dropped and my eyes popping out. This polish is in the shade 'The Living Daylights' it is part of the Skyfall James Bond Collection that OPI released.

The colour is actually a mixture of large glitter particles in the colours - bronze, silver, gold and then a lovely 'sky' blue. The polish looks great built up with a few layers to really get that glitter effect or just a simple one coat as you do with normal glitter polishes.

My only pet hate about this polish is that the glitter gathers on the nail, so when you apply it to your nail bed it all falls together instead of spreading out evenly. However, that makes me love it more as it gives a really nice effective!

The Nail Varnish Tag ♥

The other day I stumbled by Laura's blog and I fell in love with everything she posts! It is amazing. She created the 'Nail Varnish Tag' which i decided to do as I LOVE nail varnishes. If you do the tag let me know down below I would love to read them.
Favourite nail polish company?
I can't choose one! Lately I have had a lot of Models Own, MUA and BarryM on my nails. BarryM are defo my favourite because their colours are just amazing and they have a great choice!

Glitter or no glitter?
Ooh! I love glitter! Whether I just put it on my ring finger or all my nails  - I love glitter. The different coloured glitters by BarryM are a must have at the moment.

OPI, China Glaze or Essie?
I haven't tried any of these, however I am hoping to soon and I will probably love them all.

When do you change your nail polish?
I don't always wear nail polish as I like my nails to breathe every now and then. But if I change it whenever I feel like it need doing or even when its all chipped.

What's your favourite colour to wear on your nails?
I love my nude shades and deep purples/reds at the moment due it still being winter/autumn.. as we go into spring I love wearing mint greens and other pastels.

Darks or brights?
Both, it really depends on my mood and the season to be honest.

What do you have on your nails right now?
I have my Nails Inc 'Oh My pink' on which, is a amazing colour!

Matte nails... In or out?
I really dislike the matte nail trend on my nails, I don't know why as it looks gorg on every one else however really horrible on my nails.

French Manicure?
This is a answer that I could go on forever about. I love a classic French manicure on my nails, different coloured tips and adding glitter on always give the French a twist!!

Favourite Winter colour?
ooh, another hard one! I really can't choose.. but if i had to it would a nude colour like BarryM 'Cappuccino'. Which is a lovely nude colour that makes my nails look pretty!

If you do this tag (hope you do!) leave it below, i would love to read it!
