Spring Makeup Haul

I went all of January and February without buying anything new in terms of beauty. As soon as March came around - I went slightly mad. The two months of not buying anything, showed me what kind of makeup I enjoyed - want to try more of and that I really didn't like. I decided to buy items that I can try and are new to me but have been out for a while.

Sephora Haul

When we travelled to Italy last month, I was on a search for a Sephora. There weren't that many in the area we stayed near Venice but the one I found drained my bank account and I couldn't be happier. I am now ready for a no buy January because I have enough of basically everything. There wasn't as much choice for other brands as I hoped. I wanted to buy from brands that we don't get here in the UK and from their own brand, as their collection is brilliant.

The last time I managed to visit Sephora was over two years ago and things have changed a lot since then, their skincare has had a makeover and there was so much on offer. The things that caught my eye were to do with hydration and glow.
* The Sephora C + E serum was a holy grail to one of the staff members, she hailed it as the serum that gives her the glow from within and makes her skin feel and look so soft and supple. It contains vitamin c and e, which are both brightening ingredients.
* I love anything that contains hyaluronic acid and the all day moisturiser and eye cream duo was jumping out at me. I love the simple, science like packaging that they've opted for and having matching products with identical ingredients makes me so happy.
*Something that I bought came with a freebie of a jade roller which is very cool, I've never used one before so I am very excited to pamper myself with this.

As I mentioned above, their Sephora Collection is amazing and has some incredible products. I've tried most of their lip products in the past and cheek products, so this visit was aimed at eyes and base.
The first thing that caught my eye was glitter! I was mesmerised by the liquid eyeshadow glitters, I had to stop myself from buying all of them. I settled for a bronze as I have nothing like this in my collection and its surreal. Then we have a simple and easy black pencil liner, my cousin loves this and I needed to try and find out what she loves about it - I am pants at liner so hopefully this helps me a little bit. One product that they were displaying a lot was their Size Up Mascara, I really don't need anymore mascaras but this one looked amazing. The brush wand is huge and its not a sticky or watery formula - I shall report when I've used.

I'm a foundation collector and need some serious help but I love mixing my base products up and around depending on my mood, the weather and my skin. I've seen and heard about the best skin ever foundation online and wanted to try for myself. I had to completely guess the shade but seem to have matched myself pretty well. Its a medium, buildable coverage that has been formulated to give the skin a natural look. I used it quickly over Christmas and was impressed. It definitely wore better as the day went on. I remember using the set and refresh spray, years and years ago. It had a very fine mist which worked well to set the face in-between foundation and powder - excited to see how it performs.

I have saved the best thing to last. As I was at the till, the most dangerous part as it contains all the minis and exclusives. I spotted some NEW Rare Beauty goodies and squealed with excitement. The lady behind the counter looked so confused and I had to explain that Rare Beauty isn't yet available in the UK. If you don't know, RB is from Selena Gomez and has taken the beauty world by storm. Everything from her is beautiful with simple packaging and quality at the forefront. I won't go into too much detail about what I picked up as I have a full post coming soon... but here is a sneak peek.

There we have it. A mini Sephora haul that I am so excited about to use and review. We need some of their own brand things over here in the UK!

Charlotte Tilbury Mystery Box Haul

When I tell you that my love for Charlotte Tilbury is growing, I am not joking. I don't think I have fallen in love with a brand as fast as this -EVER. Everything I have tried from her I have loved and nothing has left me feeling disappointed. Before clicking buy on the mystery box last week, I debated for a long time but to tell you the truth I am so glad that I did. The box was a mystery and contained products that I don't own from the brand already...coming in a future post for sure!

Here is what was inside...

Payday Haul

Since January to now, I have been as good as I can be with spending money on beauty products. I've loved shopping for clothes and have repurchased products such as cleanser and moisturiser as they are essentials.  Then on my most recent pay day, after online teaching to normal teaching, half term was the perfect excuse to splurge and treat myself. I didn't get lots of things but some products that I have had my eye on.

E.L.F UK Haul

My E.L.F primer last month has been such a popular post, I'm still gasping a the views it has got - thank you so much! I've fallen in love with the primer so much, it made me want to try more from the brand. Superdrug & Boots don't stock much in-store so I headed to their website and ended up spending £20 but receiving two freebies, which is a great deal.

Huda Beauty Mystery Bag

When it comes to brands like Huda Beauty, I always wait for reviews and videos until I buy any of her products. In the past, I've tried her mini sized lip products and mini eye palettes but nothing else, that was until I saw her mystery bag deal appear...
She was offering 2 different deals, a small bag and a large bag. I went with the small that cost me £33, then £35 including taxes. I paid no shipping charges and wasn't charged when it came over from Dubai too - which is just amazing! The bag cost me £33 but the total of the products is much more and they're all full sized!

Skincare Haul

Ahhh skincare, what a wonderful thing. Products that can either make or break everything for you. A few weeks back, I went for a glycolic peel to help with scarring and acne. It was such an amazing experience and I have another one booked next week, but my skin went super sensitive and so dry! I needed to amp up the hydration in my routine, so off I went to Superdrug to do some (small) damage. I haven't been skincare shopping in a while, usually just order the same things over and over on Amazon - I was very very excited. This is a small insight into what I ended up buying and trying...

Collective Beauty Haul

For the whole of January, I went on a no buy. Meaning no purchasing of makeup and skincare products - it was hard but I did it. Since then I've not been as good. I have an obsession with buying clothes - ASOS is my best friend and have been buying random bits of makeup from here and there. I plan to start more of a low buy from next month, and only buy the essentials when I run out. My aim is to save as much as I can this year, and buying all the new launches, just because everyone else has, needs to stop. I get myself tangled in a web of no money and its just not worth it.
This post, is a haul of some things I have 'treated' myself to recently, all essentials of course!

Flower Beauty UK Haul and First Impressions

Flower Beauty is a brand that I have oodles about on YouTube and have always wanted to get my hands on. When I went to Hawaii, they weren't stocked in any of the stores. However, Drew Barrymore the creator and brains behind the brand has recently launched a very limited range on the Superdrug site and I jumped to the chance to try and buy. For the first testing round, I purchased just three things - the foundation, concealer and liquid lipstick. Eventually, the aim is to buy more as she expands what we have available. The hardest part of ordering was selecting shades, there are very few swatches online so it was a guessing game until they arrived ....

Sephora Paris Haul

Back in December, really close to Christmas I had the best trip ever to Disneyland Paris. Myself and Nicole wondered off to the city for a little long weekend away to celebrate the amazing year we had. Round the corner from the hotel was a shopping mall and hidden inside was of course a Sephora! We couldn't help ourselves when we went the first time... we ended up going in again. In hindsight, I didn't actually pick up as much as I thought I did for myself as most of the things ended up being Christmas presents for friends. However, the things I did pick up have been sat waiting to be blogged about! There wasn't the biggest selection of brands there but lots of pretty things nonetheless.

Hawaii Drugstore Haul

This is one heavy worded post, so you might need some snacks or even take a break but its here! My holiday consisted of sight seeing, sleeping and of course makeup shopping. I didn't really buy much from Sephora as we seem to get most brands over here now anyways but when I went to the likes of Ulta and CVS there was more of what I wanted. I have tried so hard not to use anything until writing this, so the dedication is real! This actually seems like a small haul now that I look at it, but I bought presents as well for others which I can't post on here, incase they see!

Bath & Body Works Autumn Haul

Did you know that the famous Bath and Body Works is FINALLY opening in the UK soon? I saw it over on twitter, as they were advertising for jobs across the country and when I went to the one in Hawaii, the manager there mentioned it to me! This was my first visit and it was incredible. The shop was quite small, with more body items compared to candles, which is what I really wanted due to them moving shop locations but all in all it was worth it. It put my mind at rest and I managed to pick up some 'fall' bits to keep me going.

Foundation Haul

Hi, My name is Parie and I am a foundation addict. I don't know what it is or why, but I can't seem to stop buying foundations. There is something in me that likes having different choices in the morning and more recently since going over seas and seeing all the different choices, it got me a little crazy and I now have enough to last me a life time. Slight problem... I have none that match my tan! So, I've had to hunt down a foundation darkner because there is no point wasting more money a darker product for a couple of weeks!

Revolution Pro Haul

Ever since Makeup Revolution launched their brand a couple of years back, I have been obsessed. Since then, they have evolved and taken the world by storm. Recently, they've had a massive change around, so Makeup Revolution is now just Revolution. Freedom which was more for makeup artists is no longer exists and they now have Revolution Pro and Obsession along side the normal brand- if that makes any sense at all? Anyways, this post is a good old haul. I haven't done a haul on here in forever, I seem to just jump straight to the review. This is a haul of all the bits I've picked up from the Pro range. There was so much I wanted to try but I went with the top part of my wish list and am so excited to try it all! They are however all on one site called Revolution Beauty, and in selected Superdrug stores.

Autumnal Haul

Now is the best time of year to get the body and mind ready for the colder months, even though in the UK we don't have much of a 'sunny' summer, the sudden change into the colder months can be quite alarming. I've decided that this year, along with changing my wardrobe I also need to change my skincare, nails and of course health. These are just a few things that I have picked up to help me get through the next few months, everything featured in this haul is from Chemist 4 U, who have a whole range of brands on their site for you to shop from.

The I Didn't Mean To Buy It Haul

I worked in Leeds a few days this week and lets just say working around the corner from all the shops is VERY DANGEROUS. I have spent so much of my lunch hour going for a browse, when I really shouldn't have! At the moment the high street/ drugstore brands are killing it, with so many new releases and Superdrug pretty much have every offer going. It is only a small haul but full of things that I am excited to try.

Nip & Fab Haul & First Impressions

Nip and Fab seem to be the brand that everyone is talking about at the moment, they have a highly raved about skincare line and to add to that a makeup line that is focuses on quality. After seeing so many people talk about their products, it was time I tried them and here's what I picked up.
As a general note, the packaging for their makeup line is very simple yet so pleasing to the eye. I love anything monochrome and creating a line with fuss free packaging is just the way to my heart, its simple, sleek and looks good in the colletion too. Their skincare products similarly have sleek packaging, each different range has a colour scheme which makes it easier to know which products contain the same star ingredient.

nip and fab glycolic fix

The two skincare items are from the Glycolic Fix range, this is their best selling range and I have very high hopes. Both products aim to give the skin radiance and exfoliate to leave a smoother complexion. I've only been using these for around a week so can't give you my whole opinion but so far so good. I've been using the cleansing pads (£12.95) every morning before applying makeup and the scrub every other night. Together both of these have made my skin look brighter and pores next to invisible, it has to be done to these glycolic heroes as nothing else in my routine has changed. Very exctied to see what contiuned use will mean.

The first makeup product that went straight into the basket was a liquid lipstick, this is in the shade Biscuit (£7.95). It was a tough challenge choosing which one to order, there are ten shades in total and each one is on the nude spectrum. As the range is new, there aren't really any swatches floating around apart from what is on instagram but I went with my gut and ordered this shade. This shade is really pretty when you swatch it but on the lips it is completely different, it is a true brown shade and doesn't compliment my skin tone very well. Applying a darker/pink lip liner underneath helps slightly but I think I need to go to a stand and see all the shades. Formula wise it is very matte, long lasting and dries instantly!
Nip and Fab Blusher Palette

The next two purchases were real no brainers, I love a good palette and one that has multiple shades for different moods are my favourite. The Blushed palette (£8.95) is an absoutle bargain, containing four completely different shades it is one palette perfect for the summer. All four of these shades are very pigmented, so you only need a small swipe on the cheeks and they are all matte! I love a good matte blush because it is so much easier to wear with all the other things you apply to the cheeks. My favourite way to wear these are actually mixing them in a diagonal pattern, combined they create some gorgeous looks.
Nip and Fab Stroboscopic

Now the last product is the one that I am the most excited about, a highligher palette (not that I need another one). Let me introudce you to the Stroboscopic palette (£15), that includes six gorgeous golden, sunkissed shades that I am head over heels in love with. Each shade is buttery, pigmented and not glittery. I've used all the shades at least once to see what they are like and each one is beautiful on my skin tone, can't pick a favourite just yet but I have a feeling it's going to be the middle, bottom row. These shades also look like they would make a gorgeous brown eye look, can't wait to try them as eyeshadows!

Overall, I am beyond impressed with Nip & Fab, makeup and skincare alike. Can't wait to carry on using them and see what happens, also need to pop into a store with a makeup stand to swatch the eyeshadow palettes, other lipsticks, foundations and concealers - basically the whole range!

Have you ever tried anything from Nip and Fab?!

The Must Have Tarte Maneater Collection

The shopping channels do not get enough credit in my opinion, they have some amazing deals available. QVC are a channel that need to be shouted about more, they stock brands such as The Ordinary, Benefit and more! Last week, I spotted on their facebook that they are giving customers an exclusive deal. This deal included a range of products from the one and only Tarte, who are a difficult brand to get your hands on here in the UK. This weeks special deal from QVC is a 7 piece set at only £43.96 (RRP £60), yep you read it right all this Tarte goodness for under £50 and if you opt for the easy installments option like me, you only pay £10 a month compared to the full payment.

Tarte has been on my radar for a while now, so getting this bargain of a deal was a no brainer! I will be revewing everything in more depth over time, but for now here is what you can pick up in the set.

Charlotte Tilbury Haul

Sometimes you've just got to treat yourself, or if your me, you constantly treat yourself! It was Valentine's Day this week and for someone who doesn't have a secret admirer it was only fair to buy myself something. Maybe not, but its a reason to shop for new things...

Colourpop Haul

Colourpop are the brand that everyone on my instagram seems to be talking about right now, since they've started to ship to the UK people have being going crazy! I had to fall in for th hype and find out what all the fuss was about and decided to make an order. Highly recommend to either order a large amount so you get free shipping, or split with a friend like I did so you don't feel as guilty for buying so much makeup. Here's a little haul of everything I got because why not and otherwise I'll have to keep them in their boxes until I photograph them - blogger problems!!
