Lock down isn't easy by any means, its taken a toll on all of us, no matter what age or country we are from. We have been told to stay indoors and we know why, its for the best and to protect lives of others. Its hard not to see families, friends and other people like we normally would. I can't wait to get out of this and give my grandma the tightest of hugs. We saw her last in March, she lives in London and we're in Leeds - quite the distance, so that video call or text message means everything now.

Spring Instagram Ideas
Tuesday, May 15
Ahh Instagram... the platform that promises so much but delivers nothing. At the moment, I am finding it really hard to grow on the gram and I think a lot of others are too. However, I am not letting this get me down, and this month have committed myself to thinking about the platform positively. This means posting when I feel like it, posting what I want to and making sure that I am happy with the content. See a trend with all of this? Its all about me. Your instagram feed should be for you and no one else, post what you like who cares! This post, is a little list and a few ideas about what you could post if you are having a bit of a creative block.

Birthday Countdown
Saturday, June 11
'The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.' Lucille Ball.
On Monday its my birthday! I honestly can't believe how quickly this year is going and that I am turning another year older again. Its crazy how fast time is going and how much everything and everyone around me is changing. A birthday or celebration isn't complete without a few things; love, happiness, food and flowers.

Gift for Her - Flowercard
Saturday, December 5
If you are on the hunt for the perfect gift for a mother, grandma, sister or even aunt. Then I just might be able to help you, well technically FlowerCard can help you! They send out handpicked flowers presented in beautiful, unique cards. All you have to do is pick a arrangement that you like, create a personalised message for the one you are wanting to send it to and then click and send! A brand new collection for Christmas has come out and I just have to share it with you all, by top 6 gift selections and I have picked all of them that are under £20.

I want to start with this because it isn't a flower arrangement, its a lovely festive tin filled with chocolate treats. Including a mini flower chocolate bouquet. What makes it different to your ordinary selection boxes is that you can personalise the tin, by adding a message to say thank you to someone or wishing a household a merry christmas!
I picked the next two because of their cute names but also because the flower arrangements are gorgeous. Rudolph's Rosette as you can imagine is all red to match his cute little nose. Its full of red roses that can be seen as romantic or even festive, with small gold twigs and other seasonal assortments. The pattern on the front of this card is of a snowy village and is a great card to send to your neighbours or family friends.
Again, a very cute name and the front o the card is a lovely winter night sky. This card is packed with white lisianthus which smell divine. Among this is a selection of other leaves and silver ferns that make it look like it as been covered with snow - very pretty.
This is a great bouquet if you want to buy it in advance and keep it to gift on the big day, as inside is a bunch of dried flowers. Including glittery poppy heads, ruscus leaves and the centre item been a cone cane. A stunning collection of flowers that are the ones that I will be buying for definite.
This is a very simple FlowerCard that I think is just as equally beautiful. Its a selection of gorgeous orchids and chrysanthemums - two of my favourite flowers. And the colour purple may not seem very festive but it is very seasonal, so this card is great to gift someone a little early or even for secret santa?
For my last pick I wanted to give you another option for a gift that still incorporates flowers but in a much more different way. Postie Robin is the cutest way of giving your family a christmas card this year, it comes like a elegant easel with a rose trio in the top corner. Its an extra special way of sending greetings this year and shows your very creative side!

Gift Ideas| Jack Frost Bouquet from Floric
Wednesday, December 10
Never heard of Floric? Well, Floric are a business that supplies you with flowers that express the emotions that you want and there is such a huge selection for you to choose from that you might be stuck but this post might just steer you towards this beautiful white bouquet! At the moment they have a range of Christmas Flowers that have been so carefully put together that they suit anybody with any particular taste - sticking with the traditional colours of red, gold, white and green there are flowers for everyone and you need to check the site out to order yourself one or even treat someone as a present!
Who said that flowers aren't for the winter time? I think that having a beautiful bouquet of flowers all year round really opens up a room and makes it seem like a brighter, happier and a more fun place to be! In winter though, I don't think that we should have neon coloured flowers in December, I mean seriously? But the wintery colours are acceptable - I'm talking reds, whites and those frosty ones! Basically, I am talking about this Jack Frost Bouquet* the perfect winter flower arrangement that is perfect in your living room near your christmas decorations!
The Jack Frost Bouquet is by far my favourite! Filled with Chrysanthemums, Roses, Eucalyptus, Eryngium and glittered Gypsophila they all add a little Christmas sparkle. It feels amazing to know that the florists at Floric have carefully picked out the flowers for this arrangement and have trimmed, and placed them in such a beautiful way to then come to my doorstep. It is the perfect treat for any one and especially at this time of year! Be sure to check FLORIC out and buy someone special a beautiful flower arrangement this Christmas.
