I'm addicted to ''drugstore'' makeup. There are so many things that attract me to it; the quality, price, accessibility and the wider range of brands that are available. Years ago, there was only a few brands stocked in both Boots and Superdrug but now there is so much choice and variety! I love L'Oreal, Maybelline and for the past couple of years Revolution. They've killed the makeup game and are constantly bringing out products that are incredible. I was very touched when they got in touch to send me a couple of bits and lets just say - they did not disappoint.

#PixiLoves Eyeshadow Palettes Swatches and Review
Wednesday, March 13
Pixi pretty much knock it out of the park when it comes to skincare. More recently, they've started to launch makeup too. I still pinch myself when their PR packages come through the post, its such a dream! Their newest eyeshadow palettes came not that long ago and I couldn't wait to get playing around. I'm not the best at eyeshadow, never have been. When I wear any eye look, its simple and basic - so apologies that its a little boring.

Eyeshadow for the Autumn
Saturday, October 7
It seems like Autumn has well and truly taken over my life, my instagram, my candles, basically everything. It was only a matter of time until my makeup gets the Autumn bug too, I posted all about my top lipsticks last week and this week is about eyeshadow. I am not someone who wears eye makeup everyday as it is far too much effort, but when I do wear it, I love going all out and having shades on that match the season and time of year.
Swoon Worthy Eyeshadows
Thursday, July 13
I'm in the process of moving student houses and as I go into my third year, I've decided to down size on everything that I own including makeup. Whilst doing this, I've rediscovered some old favourites, most of which are in the eyeshadow department. Since owning the ABH Modern Renaissance palette I haven't really used much else shadow wise but that is all about to change because these rose gold/gold beauties are incredible.
Urban Decay Naked 3; Review+Swatches♥
Saturday, January 4
I just want to start off with apologising, if you are one of those people who are reading yet another post on the UD Naked 3 palette! The entire world has gone loco for this palette, and there have been many reviews and swatch posts already posted, but I thought that I would just share my opinion with you as I just have to rave about it!
This has been one of the most anticipated makeup releases ever in my opinion, Urban Decay have stolen so many hearts and one of them being mine. I adore by Naked 1 palette and had my heart set on buying 2 last month, but it all changed when 3 popped along and stole the spotlight! I decided to skip buying 2 and move straight onto 3 instead. I am unsure about whether or not I am going to buy 2 yet, but am hoping to buy Basics..anyway enough of a ramble lets' get on with it!
After days of sitting beside the door waiting for the postman to deliver this as a parcel, IT CAME! When I opened it, my heart skipped a beat. I was in complete shock, it was just so beautiful to look at and touch that I was so scared to even use it.After photographing everything and staring at for the whole day, I decided to use it and it was like putting pure heaven on my eyes.
What comes with the palette? With the Naked 1 I got a full size of the original primer potion(that I love) and this palette comes with a double ended brush from UD and 4 samples of their primer potion, each with a weeks worth of primer enclosed > Original, Eden,Sin, and Anti-Aging.
Packaging+Shadows? The case is a rose gold colour with waves that are indented across it and it snaps shut. It is filled with 12 beautiful eye shadows that are all very soft, blendable and very pigmented. There is a mix of matte and glitter/satin shadows that are just overall amazing. My skin is fairly dark, and all of the shadows swathed fine apart from Dust which took a few layers to show up as it is very heavy with glitter and Trick which would not show up on my skin at all, so there is no swatch - apart from they were all a treat to use!
Here are a few pictures and the swatches, you can expect a face of the day tutorial in a few weeks using this palette! I am also really proud of my photography with the palette as the light was awful!

Dainty Doll Eye-shadow's 'Frankie Girl' & 'Teach Me Tiger' ♥
Wednesday, May 8
Hellooo! For a long time now, I have been debating whether or not to buy anything from the Dainty Doll range that Nicola Roberts launched for fair skin. I have dark skin, so I though maybe buying products for fair skin wouldn't suit me?! But I popped into good old Pound World... I was amazed! They had two of the eye-shadows from the range in store! I of course had to buy both, surprisingly they aren't actually that bad (considering I didn't know what colours I was buying!) x
This why I didn't know what colours they were, as they packed in a plastic bag as are all products they stock!
The packaging for the line are sooo cute! They are very professional and the cartoon on the front is uber cute!
The first is a eye shadow in shade '003 Teach Me Tiger' it is a wonderful orange/pink shade! I think it a gorgeous colour for this time of year and is defo suitable for any skin tone! As a added bonus there is also a mirror with the eye-shadow, making it easier to travel with!
The second is a eye-shadow base that I am really excited about using! This has such a smooth, creamy formula that I can't wait to start using it!
The lighting is awful, but you can kind of see both shades here!
I hope to purchase more Dainty Doll products in the future!
