I used to always post on my nails, until recently when my nails have just become the least of my priority. Which means, similar to the makeup of the moment posts, I will also be sharing what I have been loving on my nails.

NOTD| Essie Resort Fling + Set in Stone
Wednesday, July 8
It has been a long time since I have posted NOTD and it's no surprise because I haven't bought any new nail polishes in AGES! It pains me every time I say that, but nothing is screaming at me, and saying BUY ME BUY ME!
Recently, I have been going back to the same duo or the past few months now and that is Essie's Resort Fling and Set in Stone. Both of these together are even better than on their own and there is just something about the brightness of them both that I love love love! It is also a great 'toe nail' colour and is an ideal good with a tan polish.
Resort Fling is the perfect Coral shade and is on the orange side of coral similar to a melon, the only downside to it is that you need three coats so the bottle is finishing quicker than I thought :(
This is definitely my go to nail combo, perfect for the summer! What are your favourites for this time of year?

Nails Of The Week|| Essie Wraps in 'So Haute' ♥
Thursday, January 9
The first nail post of 2014 is here, and this week it is all about the nail wraps. I usually stay away from them because I don't like the faff and if it gets complicated then I loose interest in doing them. These Essie ones are totally different to any of the wraps I have used in the past on myself and other people, you don't have to heat them and then apply you just have to measure, stick, press and file. Easy as pie!
The first thing you need to do is find out which sticker best fits your nail, to make it easier to find this out I cute around the plastic instead of having to guess.
I didn't use them or all or even as many as I thought,as when I filed some off one nail it fit on to another nail and this way I saved on the wraps. And after completing both hands - I just fell in love. Not only was the application really easy but I love the overall finish and design, after realising that the pattern isn't as bright as I thought originally!

Latest In Beauty - Ultimate Summer Nails Box |
The first thing I was really excited about is the 'Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover 'and I have been wanting to purchase this for so long, but I it is sold out everywhere! This is perfect if you are like me and get bored of your nail colours and if you're on the go you just dip, twist and it is clean!
And the next product, is a butter london polish that get raved about so much, I couldn't wait to get my little hand on one! And finally I have this one in 'yummy mummy' this name makes me giggle, and the colour is beyond amazing! I love nude colours for the summer and this is such a lovely colour and with two coats looks amazing!
Next up is this 'Rituals Nail Polish Corrector Pen' and I have very mixed thoughts about this, only because I used to have one of these and it failed on me, hopefully this will change my thoughts and do it's job. This is great though for when you are in a rush and need a quick fix, plus I always smudge and ruin my nails so this will hopefully be my god send.
I love using and collecting nail files and this one from 'The Vintage Cosmetics Company' is such a lovely pattern and I can add it to my growing set of nail files. This is currently in my handbag because of how pretty it is!
These 'Essie Sleek Stickers in So Haute' look so exciting! I love nail wraps and am currently loving nails with patterns on, and these ones from essie look easy to apply even though wraps can be very fiddly! I love essie and hopefully will love these as well!
Everyone needs a hand cream when they have finished their nails! and this 'L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream' smells amazing! I love that this is full size as I have used up the mini one I got a the clothes show, it smells amazing and leaves your hand smooth and smelly fresh!
How cute are these mini nail polishes! They are so adorable and I love nails inc and these two polishes are amazing! On the left is I'Notting Hil Gate' which is a great vibrant pink colour for the summer time and looks so pretty with the butter london polish. And on the right is the 'Kensington Caviar Top Coat' which I have been wanting to try forever and ever due to meaning to give you that glossy gel like finish.
This box is amazing, and for only £15! But I am afraid that the box has gone again, I would still sign up to Latest In Beauty because they have some other amazing boxes!
Essie Haul ♥
Wednesday, June 19
For my birthday I received some gorgeous Essie nail polishes! And I am in love with the colours that I just had to blog about them! *WARNING YOU MAY BE ABOUT TO SPEND SOME MONEY* I had to put that disclaimer in, because you will be in love after reading this post oops!
I think that the Essie packaging is beyond beautiful. It just looks so professional and the clear bottle helps you to know the colour you are buying!
First up is 'Fear or Desire' which is a lovely bright orange colour. I don't usually go for bright's, but I am attracted to this colour so much! The above picture is with 2 coats, and the polish as a lovely creamy formula to it which makes it very easy to apply.
Next is 'Bikini So Teeny' a colour that I have been wanting for so long! It is a baby blue with very fine specks of glitter in, this is a very sheer polish and needs several coats to get the colour of the bottle. You also need to be careful and make sure that you be careful as it is very streaky...I did 2 coats and still couldn't see the shimmer that I can see in the bottle; which is a disappointment.
And now my favourite of the 3, 'Off The Shoulder' a deep pink polish with again a creamy finish. For me this is the perfect all round pink, it has warm and cool tones which makes it great to wear whatever the season! Another thing I love about this is that I only needed to use one coat and it came with a glossy finish!
Are there any Essie nail polishes I should try? Leave your recommendations below!

Travel Supermarket Beauty and The Beach Two ♥
Monday, June 3
For the past two years; Travel Supermarket have ran a competition for bloggers called 'beauty and the beach'. All you have to do is post your favourite holiday hair, nails or make up and explain how you achieved the look. It is very easy and you can find out more.
I have decided to enter the nails and hair category!
NAILS
When it comes to summer time and painting my nails I like having something simple but with a twist! I am not a nail art professional, but I like to have a go every now and then. I also like doing things on my nails that don't take that long because I can't wait for my nails to dry and this is super easy and quick!
- 2 Nail Polishes ( One Base + Flower Colour)
I am going to be using the BarryM Gelly in 'Blueberry' as this is a gorgeous blue colour for summer time and these nail polishes last for ages! Along with Essie 'Cascade Cool' another lovely colour for the summer time and for the beach.
- Hair Grip
Step 1 - First of all you need to paint all your nails the base colour, I recommend applying two coats as it gives you a better colour.
Step 2 - With your chosen polish for the flower, dab some onto a piece of paper to make using the polish a lot easier! Grab your hair grip, open it up and dip it in the polish!
Step 3 - Before painting onto my nails, I practised on the piece of paper - to make sure I'm not shaking.
Step 4 - Then go ahead and paint the flower on to your nail; starting with the centre and working your way out.
Clean up any mess with a cotton bud and apply a top coat to seal in your design! And hey presto you have your very own dotting tool and pretty nails!
HAIR
I have long hair and I have previously had short hair too. I know that summer can be a pain for all types and lengths of hair, you just want to do something with it that doesn't require heat and effort! This hairstyle is super easy and requires sleep! This is so easy, you are going to be amazed that you can get easy, no stress, heat-less waves over night!
You Will Need;
- Salt Spray/Curling Spray ( optional )
- Clips
- Hairspray
-Comb
Step 1 - Wash your hair the night before and let it dry naturally so that your hair becomes damp.
Step 2 - Split your hair into two and comb it threw to remove any knots and tangles. Spray the hair with either salt spray or a curling spray ( this step is optional, it works with or without the product!)
Step 3. Starting at the front, twist your hair until you get to the end and clip it up with any sort of clips you can find!
Step 4 - Spray Hairspray evenly throughout the hair to keep it in place over night! Then have a good night's sleep.
Step 5- In the morning when you're all ready, take the clips out and shake your hair around to add some volume and style it as you like!
With this look I love, creating two plaits and pinning them back for a boho look!

The Nail Varnish Tag ♥
Monday, March 4
![]() |
The other day I stumbled by Laura's blog and I fell in love with everything she posts! It is amazing. She created the 'Nail Varnish Tag' which i decided to do as I LOVE nail varnishes. If you do the tag let me know down below I would love to read them.
Favourite nail polish company?
I can't choose one! Lately I have had a lot of Models Own, MUA and BarryM on my nails. BarryM are defo my favourite because their colours are just amazing and they have a great choice!
Glitter or no glitter?
Ooh! I love glitter! Whether I just put it on my ring finger or all my nails - I love glitter. The different coloured glitters by BarryM are a must have at the moment.
OPI, China Glaze or Essie?
I haven't tried any of these, however I am hoping to soon and I will probably love them all.
When do you change your nail polish?
I don't always wear nail polish as I like my nails to breathe every now and then. But if I change it whenever I feel like it need doing or even when its all chipped.
What's your favourite colour to wear on your nails?
I love my nude shades and deep purples/reds at the moment due it still being winter/autumn.. as we go into spring I love wearing mint greens and other pastels.
Darks or brights?
Both, it really depends on my mood and the season to be honest.
What do you have on your nails right now?
I have my Nails Inc 'Oh My pink' on which, is a amazing colour!
Matte nails... In or out?
I really dislike the matte nail trend on my nails, I don't know why as it looks gorg on every one else however really horrible on my nails.
French Manicure?
This is a answer that I could go on forever about. I love a classic French manicure on my nails, different coloured tips and adding glitter on always give the French a twist!!
Favourite Winter colour?
ooh, another hard one! I really can't choose.. but if i had to it would a nude colour like BarryM 'Cappuccino'. Which is a lovely nude colour that makes my nails look pretty!
If you do this tag (hope you do!) leave it below, i would love to read it!
