Ebay Real Techniques Bold Metals Dupes

Browsing Ebay is one of my favourite past times, in fact I think I spend longer on Ebay some nights than I do any social media platform. Call me crazy if you wish but sometimes scrolling for hours really does have its benefits. I stumbled upon this beauty of a bargain, a Real Techniques Bold Metals Set for the bargain price of £4.99! Keep reading to find out more...

Ebay Real Techniques Bold Metals Dupes

The £4 Charlotte Tilbury Dupe from W7

I've always regarded W7 as a 'cheap' brand,they can't be found in many places and a lot of their things appeal to much younger audiences then myself. Until recently, when I had a good look and realised that in fact some of the things they have are absolute gems! A lot of their products are dupes for the higher end things, such as the In the Mood Palettes is a dupe of the UD Basics, Honolulu is a dupe for Benefit's Hoola.

This dupe from W7 is a Charlotte Tilbury one, on the more luxurious side of the brands their items are similar to. Let me introduce to you W7 Hollywood Bronze & Glow at only £3.99 you can achieve the same/exact look that I am guessing the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow gives you at £49.00. I don't own the higher end version, nor do I think I ever will but just by looking at pictures of it and putting them next to the W7 item I am pretty sure it is the exact same.

If I had the actual product at hand, this comparison would be a lot easier but I don't think you need the physical product, just by looking at pictures and other people's reviews you can tell the difference. The biggest one is the price, W7's version is more than half the price of the CT one which is insane! Then we have the packaging, W7 have there's in a plastic cover, with a see through lid and a small mirror inside on the top, whereas the CT one is a lot more bulkier just looking at it, it has a big mirror on the inside, rose gold detailed and her signature logo on the front.
That's all the comparing, now onto the actual product. It's a highlighting and contouring palette in one and is a beauty to take away with you as it really isn't that heavy/bulky. I am in shock at how much I like this product, the bronzer is stunning and gives you a lovely glow to the skin with its warm undertones - very natural. Then the highlighter is just something completely different, not the biggest fan of them but this one works nicely with the bronzer and you don't really need anything else on your cheeks. Neither products are highly pigmented but that is expected with the price, they are perfect to build up and give you a heavier look

Now, even thought I don't own the CT version, I can tell you that no way can something compare to anything that is a high end product just because of the things that go into to make it 'high end' .But I still love this from W7 and it is perfect if you are on a tighter budget like me!

There is all sorts that W7 Offer, and everything can be find on Xtra's.  Have you ever tried anything from the brand?

MAC EBAY Brushes Dupe||Review

MAC EBAY Brushes Dupe

So, a while ago now I ordered a few brushes from Ebay that looked just like the RT brushes and you can find the full post here > http://classandglitter.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/real-techniques-dupes.html where I go through in depth about them and where to buy. Then the other week when browsing ebay again for no reason I came across some other makeup brushes that looked just like MAC brushes! I can't really compare them to the real ones as I don't own any, but when I do I will compare them properly but for now I am using pictures and what I have heard from other people.

MAC EBAY Brushes Dupe
The picture above are the ones I got from EBAY and just looking at them, you can see that they look very similar to the MAC ones the only difference is that they don't say MAC on them, but they do have the number of the brush that you order at the bottom. These brushes are unbelievably soft and are amazing to use on the eye.

The handle for the brushes are very thick in my opinion, even though they are easier to use to handle they can take some getting used to. I love using the '239' one to pack the colour on and then 217 one to blend everything together and to remove harsh lines. I am honestly surprised at how amazing these brushes are and how they work. I will be always using these with my eye makeup as they are just great and I will be ordering more in the future because they are great for only 99p yes only 99p.

These brushes came quicker than I expected as when I ordered them from china I thought they would take a while, but in fact they came within just short of 2 weeks, Also from the same seller I have ordered other brushes so will have them up in a few weeks.

Blogmas Day 10 || Ebay Finds ♥

I am one that drifts on to Ebay whenever I have a few minutes spare. Minutes sometimes turn into a hour or two spent browsing through pages of goodies. I thought that I would gather all them finds and put them in to a post for you all. There are so many bargain buys out there in the world, you just have to look for them. Just a note, everything I have bought from Ebay so far has been really good quality, some of these things may not look like they are on screen. There will be full reviews on some of these soon as I get around to order them.

Acrylic Storage
Another thing that you see a lot of people with these days are the acrylic storage units that store can help with the organisation of your make up and nail polishes. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, to suit everyone. In America I am aware that a shop called 'The Container Store' stocks a lot of storage things, but this is for you worldwide people.

No way is this the last ever week of #TheSoProject!! I can't honestly believe that 10 weeks have gone so quickly, and that since first signing up to do this project my knowledge has grown so much more! For the final ever time, I will be taking to you about how to apply your make up.. there are so many different ways to apply it that you are spoilt for choice on what to pick and when and how!

First of all is the most common one which is brushes! There are so many brands out there that you could choose from and use, but my favourite has to be Real Techniques because there is something for everyone for such a great price. It would be something I would add to your wish list because they are amazing! In the below picture you can see two gold brushes, these aren't actually RT they are 'dupes' I bought this on Ebay for £3 each or you can but the whole set for £12. Just like the real ones they work perfectly! The on the left is mainly for foundation and is great for all different types! It also helps create a flawless finish on your face.. the one on the right which is pointed can be used for either blush or bronzer as it is tapered.
The one in the pink is from the actual RT travel collection and is the multi-task brush, you are able to use this one for everything - foundation, powder, bronzer and blusher. Just like the dupe ones it works perfectly on your face and picks up just the right amount of product!

The next thing you could use is make-up sponges that are now available to buy anywhere! These are great used damp with foundation and again give you that flawless airbrushed look to your whole look. For such a great price you can achieve such a lovely look and they come in all different shapes and sizes so you are able to find the one that is the best for you to use.

As well as using brushes and sponges for your face you need tools for your eyes to make them look amazing as well. The two black brushes in this picture are from a make up brush set I actually bought it in a set for Morrisons and haven't stopped using them since! The one at the top is a eye shadow brush which is flat so it makes it easier to really pack on that eye shadow and really bring out the vibrant colours that you want to show off. The other is a eye smudge brush that I love using to mix together colours on the eye and use it more on the crease line so that there aren't any harsh lines that make it look a little like a dolls make up. One of the best tools ever invented has to be the eye lash curler, this one from Primark is my favourite. Why? Well, it was not only cheap but also great at curling your eyelashes before you apply that lovely mascara to give you even longer looking lashes!
TIP - heat your curler for a little while with a hair dryer to make it easier to curl them lashes!

Thank you for being with me for the past 10 weeks and I hope that you have all enjoyed these posts, and if you want to go back and read the rest then click here to find them all together!
