3 Aldi Specialbuys You Can't Miss

Aldi seem to always cause a stir when they release new product, a few months ago it was the Jo Malone sort of candles and now they've hit the nail on the head again. Their most recent release of special buys have hit the ball out the park and the best way to keep up with them is by signing up to their newsletter along and keep in the loop. Then you have to go either the day of or the day after to grab them because people are quick!

Style on a Budget

Today we are talking all about student style, as a student I have two moods. The lazy mood where I will throw the first thing I see on, then the effort mood, where I put thought into my outtfit and make sure I look the  part. Dressing as a student doesn't have to be difficult and to make it easier PrettyLittleThing have a dedicated page on their site for every outfit you ever need. Both of these can be worn so many different ways and are perfect to take you from summer to winter.

Thanks to the lovely Laura from Laura Haley Photography, we have lots of outfit posts coming up and I hope that this is the start for them being more frequent and of high quality. Do you remember the days where mirror pictures were on my blog - gone were those days and here come the professional ones. Laura is the best to shoot with if you are around the Leeds area, she is so accomodating and comfortable to be around. Check out her facebook page here!

Makeup Revolution First Impressions

Let's just say that I am slightly obsessed with highlighting, all forms too! The post all about highlighters under £10 went down a treat and there was a lot of love for the gorgeous MUR palette. Since that post, I ended up buying two more palettes from the brand, one is labelled as a strobing palette and the other highlighter - either way they are beautiful and here's the low down.

£1 LIP LINERS!

PRIMARK LIP LINERS

You know when Primark bring out something that is just truly, truly amazing you want to buy more? Well when I found these £1 lip liners hidden near the makeup brushes and squealed with excitement! They put all the liners in one little box thing, thinking that they had a lot of colours I ravaged through but there was only two - a nude and a red - two that are technically the most important ones. After a few weeks of testing them out, i thought I would tell you lovely lot about them so you can go and get your hands on them.

£1 LIP LINERS!

I have never been a big fan of lip liners, they always seemed like so much faf and hassle and nothing stays put on my lips anyway so i  always thought -what is the point? But since discovering these two beauties, I decided to give them a go and now I am officially converted to the lip liner life and might I say, they do make a BIG difference.
When I have swatched other lip liners before they are all twist up ones and more like a pencil that you put on, but these are more like bullets/fine liners that you are applying to your lips.

£1 LIP LINERS!

The packaging of the liners are very simple and go in line with the rest of the P.S Love Range, Black with gold writing and in my opinion it looks very sleek and professional but I can never find them in and amongst my belongings because of them being super thin. They are both very highly pigmented and the swatches above are one swipe only, the colour is intense and really does pay off as the same on the packaging.

Another great thing that Primark have for only £1 are their false nails - an absolute bargain!

Budget Buy| KIKO Lust Lip Tint 07 & 04

Let me let you all in on a little secret - I'm addicted to Kiko. They have recently just opened up a shop in Leeds and even though it has take me ages to find the place, now that I have managed to locate it - I can't stop thinking about it or going there. If you haven't heard of Kiko then please allow me. It is a Italian cosmetics brand that has on offer low prices with the highest quality to help those of us on a budget but want to be beautiful. There company slogan is 'be what you want to be' (also printed on the back of their bag) and the aim is to create products that are diverse for everyone and meet the requirements of each single person.

Budget Buys| L'oreal True Match vs Infallible

L'oreal True Match vs Infallible

I have been loving L'Oreal foundations recently, and thought instead of reviewing them each on their own, a comparison would show you which might be for you and what makes them different. I purchased the True Match last June time after hearing so many good words about it, and then when I went back to repurchase it I decided to pick up the Infallible one as well as it was on offer!

Budget Buys|Make Up Gallery from Poundland

Make Up Gallery from Poundland

I am a BIG Poundland fan, you can find everything and anything in there and for a £1 you can't go wrong? The hauls I post on here get so much love and I am always talking highly of the shop to my friends and family - making sure they go there and pop in for a nosey! My most recent trip there, led me to bringing back some makeup items from their own brand beauty range 'The Makeup Gallery'. Each store as far as I know has a large stand dedicated and you can find everything from foundation to eyeliner to nail polish. I thought I would review a selection of them for you today and soon will go and pick up more!

NEW IN| Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes | Review and Swatches

Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes

If you are currently swooning over the look of these blushes, then you have every right! I saw them in Superdrug the other day and had to get the post up straight away and let you all know about them - because they are just unbelievable. These are the new releases from Max Factor and now I have two, I want to buy more and here is why...

Budget Buys| Makeup Revolution Eye Primer in Original

Makeup Revolution Eye Primer in Original

Eye Primers. A very iffy makeup product for most and for me it can be either 'ride or die'. I love my Urban Decay Primer but am all for trying out new ones and when the new Budget Buy came along from Makeup Revolution I was like an eager beaver and just had to try it.

Budget Buys|Maybelline Cololor Drama Lipstick

Maybelline Cololor Drama Lipstick

I think it's pretty clear that I love buying lip products of any sort, whether it be lipsticks, glosses, balms and now pencils! For a few weeks I have been debating over buying these Maybelline Color Drama Lipsticks because they are meant to be 'long lasting, beautiful formula and already amazing'. Of course I fell in for the hype and now a month or so later I am telling you THAT YOU NEED THEM IN YOU'RE LIFE.

Budget Buys| MUA Pro Base Fixing Mist

MUA Pro Base Fixing Mist

I don't really believe anything when it says that it will keep my makeup on all day or for so many hours because my face doesn't like makeup on therefore likes to slip off after a few hours of wearing it. But I do like to try things that will help it to last that little bit longer, especially if I am going out for the day or even working as it does because a long day. I recently bought this mist from MUA purely because it was only £5 and because I wanted to see what it was like on my face and how makeup fixing mists work because the whole concept baffles me entirely!

After a few weeks of spraying this on my face a few times, I can say that I don't actually mind it. At first it feels really wet and sticky on the surface and when you look in the mirror it looks as though you just covered yourself in lots of glitter. But after a few minutes of waiting it dries and sinks into your skin. Saying all that I do have a tendency to lean on my jaw and rub my nose a lot so my makeup is going to fade away so this can't help me in that sense but it has allowed me from not powdering my face every afternoon.

It is also only £5 so I guess it doesn't really matter if you hate it or love it because re-purchasing it is  cheaper than the others on the market. The packaging is just normal plastic, but because its their 'pro' line the bottle is silver and packaged much better than their black one. If I use this on its own it doesn't work at all, I feel as though I need a primer as well to help my makeup stay on which is weird as this is meant to keep it stuck on but maybe its just my skin!
