Rimmel Stay Satin Lipsticks

When liquid lipsticks first became a thing, they were my favourite type of lipsticks to wear. The lasted all day, looked amazing and did not budge. Then I fell back in love with lipsticks, and rarely touch let alone wear a liquid lip. This was until Influenster, very kindly send me eight of their new stay satin lipsticks.

Rimmel x Influenster Review

When I received an email a few weeks ago saying that I had been selected for the next Influenster VoxBox, I was very excited. Since the concept of getting everyday people to try out new brands has come over from the US to the UK, I have been itching to be selected and am so thankful that this time round I was. Then, I got even more excited when the box came and it was full of Rimmel goodies. Rimmel is a brand that I haven't really explored much of, apart of the Stay Matte Powder (HOLY GRAIL, DO OR DIE PRODUCT) there isn't much that I love from them. I think this is down to that they tend to cater for lighter skin tones than mine and this puts me off even looking at the stand in stores.

However, things are a little different this time round with their newest launch. They have a whole range of different shades from pale to medium to almost dark and I got very excited to receive a foundation from them that matches me.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation|Review

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
I am the fussiest person when it comes to what foundation I use because of all the factors that go into consideration. I ask my self questions like What will it look like on my skin? How will it feel? Will it react? and the list goes on and on, but I finally think I have found my perfect match because this foundation from Rimmel is great for everyday and the night and feels like there is nothing on my skin! When I was reading reviews about the foundation it was all very mixed as some people loved it but others hated it because of the shimmer but that really doesn't bother me!

The first thing that caught my eye in Superdrug was the packaging and how brightly coloured it was! I mean if orange wasn't a better colour to catch your eye what would be, the glass bottle really appeals to me as well because it think that it makes me look after it a little more. It may become a problem when I'm travelling but because I have to mix two colours together I could put it into a little bottle. The pump is also amazing, I hate things with no pump because it gets really messy.

So, I bought the shade on the left at first because I thought this would be perfect but then I had to go back and buy a shade darker because the light one was too white on my skin tone. Mixed well on the back of my hand it makes my perfect shade and that has never happened to me! The consistency of the foundation is very thick but thin as well as it is bendable and easy to apply. Coverage is medium but I find you can build it up to give you a flawless finish. I never knew exactly what a dewy look was, until using this I love the way dewy skin looks and feels!

Would I repurchase? YES!! Have you tried the Wake Me Up?!

Rimmel London 'Breakfast in Bed'
Rimmel London by Rita Ora in Breakfast in Bed
My perfect summer nail polish. This is such a gorgeous colour and the picture does not do it justice as in real life it is the most stunning minty blue colour I have in my nail collection. The formula and staying power of Rimmel Polishes are always on point, and this just made me agree with that even more and I want to try more from the Rita Ora range as all the colours look amazing. The name is also uber cute and makes me feel all relaxed when I read it and wear the colour.

Beauty Haul||Feel Unique,Superdrug+Boots

Over the last two months I have been doing small shops to buy different pieces of beauty items, didn't mean to but everything was on offer when I purchased so its allowed!
Superdrug/Boots (I can't remember where exactly!)
Beauty Haul||Feel Unique,Superdrug+Boots

- BarryM Gelly's|| These have already featured on the blog! I picked up the new pastel shades from BarryM because I love wearing them for the Spring time.
-L'oreal Nail Polish|| A first from L'oreal from me, I loved seeing lots of people wearing these macaroon colours and wanted to try them out for my self. I got drawn into the mint green one out of the other shades because I have never seen anything like it!
- Rimmel Lipsticks|| Not one to buy from Rimmel a whole lot, I decided to pick up the Kate Moss Lipsticks because the nudes are meant to be amazing! And who can resist a Buy one get one half price offer? I picked up 03 and 08 both pinky nudes that look amazing for everyday wear.
-MUA Blusher|| After hearing some other people in Superdrug talking about them and literally buying every single shade I decided to pick one up as well to try. Not a big fan of blushes in general but this is very neutral so I guess I can make it work!

-Batiste Dry Shampoo||I have recently become addicted to using dry shampoo, it has so many great benefits and I went a picked up a big bottle as well as a small one for my travels next week to London!
- Garnier Micellar Water|| A impulse purchase as it was on offer. But these Micellar water's have truly stolen my heart, and this is just another one to add to your shopping list. I love this compared to the other ones because it has been made for sensitive skin. A full review coming soon.
-Hair Grips|| I always loose my grips, and then my mum ends up finding them on my carpet or in the bathroom. But nevertheless, I still buy more because I need them all the time!
Feel Unique!

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial' Review & Swatch ♥

This is well overdue! So my apologies! Here is another Rimmel Apocalips Review! After purchasing 'Apocaliptic' and falling in love with it, I couldn't resist buying another one. You can read the review on that here I recommend these lip lacquers to anyone, and everyone!

As I have said before, and will carry on saying ... the packaging is uber cute! I love the way it looks and the product as a whole.

V

Celestial is on the other end of the spectrum to Apocaliptic, this is a nude/light pinky colour whereas the other is a deep/bright pink. That's why I bought this one, because it is more of a colour you can wear all the time and not just for a bold lip colour.

The formula of these things are amazing, they don't feel sticky at all and glide on your lips perfectly. The brush on this one collected a lot of product which means that you only really have to apply it to the bottom lip and press together as the colour transfers perfectly!

This also smells amazing, which is a win win!

If you haven't tried these out then I think you should! And if you have which are your favourite colour's?

Rimmel Apocalips 'Apocalyptic' Review & Swatch ♥

This is something I am really, really excited about! The Rimmel Apocalips Lip lacquers have stormed into the beauty industry and have gone down a great treat! Every blogger has raved about them; and now it is my turn! I finally, purchased the shade 'Apocalyptic' and holy cow.. you guys it is the best thing ever.

First off,  the packaging is uber cute! I mean I love the element of a like 3D bottle! It's like an alien shape.. itf that makes sense.

The consistency of these products are amazing and is what impressed me the most. They are really sort of creamy and full coverage that they last all day!. The applicator has a little well in the centre that collects product so you can apply it with only one or two dips, meaning it uses less than a lipstick would and more than a lip gloss would.

'Apocalyptic' is such a deep pink colour, and the swatch you see on your hand is just how it is on your lips. They smell amazing as well, which is a added bonus! Hat's off to Rimmel!
They are so pigments though! I have a love hate relationship with lip products, because I find that many don't stay on long, yet are lovely colours and so on. So this product for me was a test, and it passed! I shall defo me buying more!
