The weather has been glorious in the UK at the moment, its the hot topic of conversation for everyone. I'm still trying to find my summer style, not sure if I want to get the legs out just yet. Instead, I've been going for floral tops, light coats and sandals to complement whatever bottoms I wear. This post is all about my current go to staples, the items that are going to see me straight through, come rain or shine!
Floral Blouses
For work and for a more casual occasion, you can never go wrong with a good old floral blouse - I know groundbreaking. I love finding short sleeve and long sleeve ones to either layer or wear on their own. This one is from Primark and was only £4! Its been great to wear with jeans and black trousers, either way makes it look amazing and its so simple, yet so pretty! There are a lots of printed blouses in the shops at the moment, Zara, Asos, River Island and New Look have a whole range of prints and its a easy thing to wear and style.Trench Coat
I love the change from padded coats to more lightweight jackets at this time of year. This trench is also another Primark number. Mine is a couple of years old but they seem to have a newer style in now, that is just as nice. I love that this dusky coloured coat goes with EVERYTHING. I can wear it with anything and it makes the whole outfit. It comes to near my thighs and cinches in the waist with a belt that loops round. The a-line style, looks and feels fabulous.Sandals
It is officially sandals season, I declare it. Since the sun has come out to play, so has my sandal collection. I try to have several styles for any outfit. My current go to ones are a pair of black heeled ones, tan wedges, snake skin gladiators and these rose gold beauties*. These lace up gladiators are a fantastic everyday and night sandal. The sandal is a combination of leather and suede, with a zip at the back and lace to tie and tighten the front to make it fit to the foot. The mixture of rose gold, cream and printed pattern looks so chic and compliment any outfit. These are available from Mastershoe and available in this, black and a plain suede shade too. They have a whole range of sandals that are perfect for this summer, no matter what style you like! Well worth a look...

Three simple staples that I am going to wearing all the time. Especially the shoes - they're so pretty! Fashion in the summer doesn't have to be expensive or hard, it can be made so much simplier if you have a basic wardrobe that can be worn different ways.
