Pixi pretty much knock it out of the park when it comes to skincare. More recently, they've started to launch makeup too. I still pinch myself when their PR packages come through the post, its such a dream! Their newest eyeshadow palettes came not that long ago and I couldn't wait to get playing around. I'm not the best at eyeshadow, never have been. When I wear any eye look, its simple and basic - so apologies that its a little boring.
Natural Beauty
The Natural Beauty palette brings 12 shadows- mattes, creamy glow shades, and 3D metallics. This is by far my favourite palette of the two new shades that have been added to the Eye Relflections range. I love how neutral, natural and everyday these shades are. These shadows are very buttery, making them a doddle to apply on the lids. When swatching on my arms, the mattes proved difficult but on the lids there was no problem with any of the shades. Each one is easy to blend, mix, apply and wear. The shades are just stunning.
I love the shades more towards the bottom of my arm, as these are perfect for spring time. They look lovely with any makeup look and perfectly suited for a nude/natural makeup lover like me. I decided to go all out and show you the whole face of makeup with this palette because I am in love with the look that came out. The shadows are just all set nicely on my lids, a slight bit of fallout but nothing too heavy and the shades really compliment my skintone.
Reflex Light
The Reflex Light it’s all about glitter. It brings 12 metallics shades that will be helpful to create that 3D looks with dimension. These are gorgeous in the pan and swatched so beautifully - like, look how shimmery they are! This palette is more for the evening, when you want something glittery and all out. I think these shades will be amazing for a special occasion too, the shimmer and metallic look of them will make any outfit/makeup look pop.
I completely forgot to take pictures of the look I did with this palette and only remembered last u minute! Apologies, for the blurry and out of focus pictures but I didn't want to leave them out. These shadows work a lot better when the makeup brush is wet or applied with my finger. I found that when dry, these shadows took a bit of work for the colour to show up on my lids, whereas wetting the brush and packing colour on - made them pop a lot more.
I do love both palettes for completely different reasons and if you are wanting to try something new from Pixi then these have to be it!
*gifted, all opinons my own
