Ever since Makeup Revolution launched their brand a couple of years back, I have been obsessed. Since then, they have evolved and taken the world by storm. Recently, they've had a massive change around, so Makeup Revolution is now just Revolution. Freedom which was more for makeup artists is no longer exists and they now have Revolution Pro and Obsession along side the normal brand- if that makes any sense at all? Anyways, this post is a good old haul. I haven't done a haul on here in forever, I seem to just jump straight to the review. This is a haul of all the bits I've picked up from the Pro range. There was so much I wanted to try but I went with the top part of my wish list and am so excited to try it all! They are however all on one site called Revolution Beauty, and in selected Superdrug stores.
The new Pro range features a whole range of different primers, there are ones targeting specific concerns but I couldn't pick just one for my combination skin but I might pick up the pore one next time round. I opted for this Priming Oil (£7.00), which can be used for skincare and makeup, it contains a blend of different natural oils and is meant to give your skin quite the glow. I am loving using facial oils at the moment and am very excited to use this as primer, hoping it doesn't make my skin an oily mess but more so mix it with a heavy foundation like I've seen a lot of people of YouTube doing to make it more glowy and lighter.
When it came to foundations and concealer, I really had to keep calm. I love the conceal and define one but they have added more full coverage products with this range. One thing is the full coverage camouflage concealer and foundation mixers. I opted for the drops in the shade F10, which is my concealer shade. I had to really eyeball this as there aren't many swatches around nor have I gone in store. From what I have seen on line, these are foundation drops similar to the NYX ones that can be built from a medium to full coverage, lightweight and water based. I have never tried anything like this so am really looking forward to giving these a go and hoping that if they work, I will have a lighter foundation to wear in the summer.
I have a original MR highlighter palette that I adore, nothing compares to the intensity that it gives to my cheekbones. When this whole range was announced, this palette was at the very top of my list and it got a lot of love on my instagram stories when it was mentioned. This is the 4K Highlighter Palette in Gold (£8), it contains four 'intense and buttery highlighters' that are meant to give the GLOW. This kit and the Rose Gold one looks very similar to the Huda Beauty ones. I haven't even swatched these yet as I wanted to get the haul up, so keep an eye out to see how these work.
Liquid lipsticks are my weakness, I bloody love them. These supreme ones are packaged so well, they look so sleek and gorgeous. This is the shade Veil (£4), is a matte nude that is a my lips but better shade, very excited to use this.
Also, a very honourable mention to the notebook that I have used in these photos. Stationery makes a great prop for any photo and I think that this one adds the perfect pop of colour for spring! Its actually from Stef, who has her own Etsy shop selling these beautiful pads and pens (matching too, so cute!). The quality of them are amazing and they are the perfect size to keep in my handbag with me to write things down on the go. Be sure to follow Stef on instagram and have a stalk!
I think the standouts for this range is the eyeshadow palettes, there is so much to choose from and let me tell you it was hard not putting them all in my basket. I went for two palettes that are very warm, pink and so not me - I'm a simple, brown and gold type girl but these were just too pretty to pass. My only bug bear is that they don't have mirrors but I think the shades make up for that. The larger palette is the Pro Regeneration Palette in Revelation (£8), the shade selection is this is just gorgeous. Warm golds, nudes and pinks with both shimmers and mattes - I mean just look at it. I am very excited to get swatching and using this and there are 21 shades in for just £8 bloody pounds!!! BARGAIN. The tiny one which is a very similar shade range to the bigger one, is the Supreme Palette in Intoxicate (£6), a smaller palette that contains 8 shadows a couple of which are shimmers. The website claims that these are there best formula yet, on instagram I have seen these a lot and the pigmentation looks insane. Literally, so excited to try this palette like as soon as I can.
There is nothing from this order that I regret buying, so excited to try everything and expect a post in a couple of weeks featuring different bits etc.
Is there anything from the range that tickles your fancy?
