It seems like Autumn has well and truly taken over my life, my instagram, my candles, basically everything. It was only a matter of time until my makeup gets the Autumn bug too, I posted all about my top lipsticks last week and this week is about eyeshadow. I am not someone who wears eye makeup everyday as it is far too much effort, but when I do wear it, I love going all out and having shades on that match the season and time of year.
Finally we have the Makeup Revolution Flawless 3 Palette*, this palette contains a whopping 32 shades and is only £8! I featured it a while back in this post, and since then I have not put it down. The bottom row screams autumn and winter, with the berry and orange shades. The matte shades in this are very good, not the best but when packed on to the lid you get a real colour pay off. I love mixing these with the ABH to create a look with different shades of reds in. This is a great palette to take with you somewhere as the looks that can be created are endless.
I love these deeper shades in Autumn, don't you? 🍁🍁

This must be the most talked about palette there is, ABH killed the eyeshadow market when they bought out this fabulous palette. Even a year or so after its launch, it still creates a buzz and I get so excited every time I go to use it. There is currently a wait list on CultBeauty to buy, which just shows how popular it is. Everything from the pink velvet casing to the shade range inside is amazing. The range of matte and metallic shadows are highly pigmented and long lasting. It is on the pricey side, but trust me when I say that you are paying for good quality. There is not one shadow in this palette that lacks pigmentation, blend ability or impact. I love using Burnt Orange as a crease shade, Antique Bronze in the inner half and Love Letter on the outer lid. This trio creates such a gorgeous look and there are so many possibilities with this palette!
Sometimes, it can be hard to find specific shades that you love in a palette, so investing in single shadows are a better option. Every brand out there, now seems to do shadows in single pots/pans which makes it easier for you to fall in love with one and build your own palette. I currently have a medium Z Palette filled with these beauties.
The three glitters that you see are from Prima Makeup*, how beautiful are they??? 👀👏 The rich brown one at the top is Hot Chocolate and is the shade of what it is called, Hot Chocolate. A deep brown that will look gorgeous with a brown smokey eye and on anyone. Then there is Copper Kettle, which is showing up blue on the photo, but I promise that is is a gorgeous copper shade and I am slightly in love with. It has a hint of rose gold running through that adds this stunning mutli-tonal effect to it. Then we have Liquid Gold which is perfect for an evening out, it will add the most pop to your eyes and will go with any look. These glitters retail at only £3.75 (what a bargain) and are packed full of oomph. Just with one tap on the brush or your finger is enough to get the full effect, I have been testing a few looks out with these for Diwali in a few weeks time and am so excited to be all sparkly! They are also really long lasting on their own but paired but a shadow underneath they last even longer as they have a base to stick to. I am in love with the formula and shades of these, be careful not to apply this like crazy, a little goes a long way.
These two Makeup Geek Shadows in Cosmopolitan and Bitten are no strangers to the blog. They are two of my favourite shades from the whole range available on Beautybay. Cosmopolitan is a stunning rose gold shade, with the Copper Kettle glitter this is a match made in heaven. It has small gold flecks in that almost twinkle and shine. I first saw Bitten on Pinterest, and fell in love almost instantly. this deep berry red colour is perfect for a sultry, haunted look and paired with a berry lipstick is killer. This is a matte finish and the pay off is something else.
