Colourpop are the brand that everyone on my instagram seems to be talking about right now, since they've started to ship to the UK people have being going crazy! I had to fall in for th hype and find out what all the fuss was about and decided to make an order. Highly recommend to either order a large amount so you get free shipping, or split with a friend like I did so you don't feel as guilty for buying so much makeup. Here's a little haul of everything I got because why not and otherwise I'll have to keep them in their boxes until I photograph them - blogger problems!!
The items that caught my attetion the most from Colourpop were definetely the lip products, so there are a lot more of them than other items. Nicole, who I ordered with went for Times Square, Beeper, and Up and Away set. All gorgeous colours and a very vibrant mix just like here - me on the other hand nudes all the way. The Casual Encounter Set ($33) caught my eye straight away, the value sets are a great way to try out a bit of everything and its full sized. The set includes four super shock eyeshadows that are right up my street and just one swatch (see below) they are super pigmented and really buttery. It was like butter in my hands, the four shades work really well together and are gorgeous. Vega is a cool toned taupe gold, Mooning is a very dark plum, Smash is the perfect golden beige and To-A-T is a matter brown. Then the three lip colours which are just amazing, I can't stop staring at these colours because they're just so AHHH. Baracuda is the most gorgeous mauve pink, Viper is more purple based and Times Square is your lips but better. Just like the shadows, the ultra matte lipsticks are creamy, long lasting and smell amazing.
Then I ordered a few random pieces, the mini lippie is Beeper which at the time of ordering you got free when ordering the Beeper lip liner and Crack Me Up Lippie Stick. The deal itself was a great chance to try lots of different colours! In addition to this, I ordered Lumiere 2 which is a nude from colourpop that I've had my eye on for ages. I wore it the other day straightaway and fell in love. Its a stunning pink nude and the formula is incredible. The formula of the ultra matte lips are also just as good, so good that they don't budge. My hand was covered in swatches for two days after taking the pictures below!
I am beyond impressed with Coloupop, so much so that I am itching to make another order! If you're wanting to make an order then I urge you to do it, they've just released pressed shadows and oh my they look gorgeous! So many more things I know what to pick up and try! Ordering wise, I made an order of over $50 which meant that shipping worldwide was free, however Royal Mail did charge me a customs and import fee which totaled £25. Not as bad as I thought, but a bit stupid. The parcel arrived in the country within a few days, after paying the fees it was with me the following day.
