Tis the season to be jolly, merry and sparkly! Christmas is just around the corner, new years isn't that long away either and that only means one thing - PARTYYY SEASON.
You've got your outfit, shoes and hair booked in but what about makeup? For me, the most important part, your face is in every picture no doubt so you need to be looking your absolute best.
I've teamed up with The Body Shop (can you hear me scream!) to show you a classic, party look for no money at all. Its part of their online beauty calender, 24 days, 24 different bloggers and 24 posts that include everything from makeup to stocking fillers. I'm day number 20, so get ready to see my little face...
EYES
For this party look is started with the base of the eyes, for which I used the eye colour stick in Nevada Gold (£8) a highly pigmented shadow stick that can be used all over the lid as a base or on top to touch up your look. These shadow sticks are perfect for travelling with, keeping in your handbag to give you a fresh look and to quickly pop on and go.
Then, I've taken the top two shades from the Go for Gold Palette (£15) and placed that over the shadow stick to intensify the colour - both colours are also perfect for the daytime. Then I've taken the bottom two and mixed together, to slightly smoke my eyes out. I didn't want to make it too heavy as the gold is the main colour. T
o put the Siberian Quartz colour stick to good use, I added it to the very outer corner and slightly under my bottom lash line. To give my eyes some volume and dimension the Big and Curvy mascara is perfect.
The crease brush £9, flat shader £8, double ended £10 work perfectly in a trio to give you that desired smokey look.
To add a bit of a glow to my cheeks and bronze me up, the baked to last bronzer (£16) is the perfect thing to add to the cheeks. Its a great all in one product, sweeping it all over and creating a bronzey glow. I've been wearing this bronzer during the day too to give my skin some colour and a lovely glow.
On the lips is a stunning matte lipstick in the shade Osaka Plum (£8), its a deep wine colour that applies beautifully, looks stunning and has very good lasting power.
Then to finish is a matching nail colour with gold sparkles to add a bit of glitz! Both only £5 each and part of their colour crush winter collection.
When its party season you have to pull out all the stops and go for it. Don't be afraid of sparkle, glitter and bold coloured lips. Thank you so much to the Body Shop for the opportunity to collaborate with them and you can find me on their advent calender on the 17th!
