Hello everyone, welcome to another post about another recent purchase I made. This time we have products from Makeup Geek! I heard a few weeks ago that Beauty Bay had MUG on offer, they were 1/2 price. Who could resist? I took it as a chance to fill a small Z-Palette.
Back in February I purchased 5 shadows and this time round another 4, which makes enough to have a complete palette! The satisfaction of having no gaps in the a palette is amazing and I am now using all the shades more and more.
MUG shadows are amazing quality, every single one I have simple beautiful and well worth the price you pay. Contour powders and blushes from the brand are next on my list and maybe even another new palette? Hehe.
Here are the shades I bought...
> Rockstar - This is one of the duo-chrome shades and makes a gorgeous inner corner highlight or even lid colour. Its described as creamy beige on Beauty Bay but for me a pure silver shimmer. With a slight purple tint through it.
> Moondust - Another silver shade because you can never have too many right. I layered this underneath Rockstar and oh my goodness it was gorgeous and so shimmery. This is more metallic so can be used all over the lid to create a gorgeous look.
> Creme Brulee - I see this shade on Youtube ALL the time, it ended up in my basket first. Everyone uses it as a 'transition' shade and let me tell you, I can now see why. This is a stunning matte, sand colour to help blend shadows and apply in the crease as a base. I always thought it would be too light for my skin tone but absolutely not. It is amazing.
> Cosmopolitan - I have had my eye on this shade for quite some time. Its a rose gold shade with gold flecks and a shimmer running through, my kind of heaven. It is out of this world, drop dead, gorgeous. I can't even put into words how much I love this shade, perfect for a day or night look and just wow. Can't even.
The extra 4 shadows now complete my small palette. I think I have a pretty good selection going and the personally, the perfect 'my shade' of colours. The small Z-Palette is perfect for on the go, in your storage and travelling with - if it had a mirror - ideal!
Top L - R Shimma-Shimma, Rock Star, Moondust
Middle L - R Frappe, Creme Brulee, Cosmopolitan
Bottom L - R Twilight, Sensuous, Bitten
I have to say Cosmopolitan is my favourite shade so far, what are yours?
