How do I even justify this? I went into Superdrug to purely buy a concealer, I promise. Then, I came across the Maybelline stand and wowza, there was a whole range of new things. I got a little carried away but am super happy I manged to pick everything up before they sell out.
I swear by the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, everything about it is perfect for me, they have however decided to discontinue my shade. Heart breaking indeed, so the hunt to find a new one is on - if you have any recommendations please let me know! As I love the concealer, I wanted to try out the foundation that goes with it but to my surprise instead of spotting the original formula I saw the new one! The Matte & Poreless, is specially formulated for normal to oily skin and is apparently meant to keep the shine away. The states have had this for a while and now it is finally the UK's turn, our version is in a tube and has way less shades. I picked up the shade 230, the darkest my Superdrug had but it's still too light for my skin. I am however, hoping to find another shade to mix and create the perfect match. It is also only £5.99!
I then looked further down the stand and spotted this new bronzer. The two part design is what caught my eye as I love it! The Bricks Bronzer is made up of two parts, One side is a bronzer to deepen your complexion and the other is a shimmer side to give you that glow. I have already tested this duo out and it is amazing. The bronzer is very orange toned unfortunately, so you have to use the tiniest amount and really blend it out but the shimmer from the other side is insane. This is £7.99!
If you ever emptied my handbag then all you would find it lipstick and plenty of it. I have an addiction to buying lip products and nothing can been a good old liquid lipstick. The Vivid Matte's from Maybelline have been out for quite some time so I decided to pick two up to try and test.These two have also been put to the test and I can confirm they are amazing. I wouldn't quite call them matte, as they don't set on your lips but they are very pigmented and come in a range of beautiful shades. Very easy to wear and these two colours in Nude Thrill and Nude Flush are great for everyday.
They also had chubby contour sticks and a whole Rio range too! I think Maybelline are going to make me go into my overdraft!
